Stopping tonight on my way home - probably going to pick up the Golden Monkey. I haven't had anything I don't like from Victory so I'm going to assume it's very good. I'll let you know.Commander of Awesome;1225118 wrote:What did you end up picking up rawdawg?

Had it a month or so ago for the first time. Thought it was decent, worth getting if you haven't had it before.Raw Dawgin' it;1225128 wrote:Stopping tonight on my way home - probably going to pick up the Golden Monkey. Don't confuse it with 400 Pound Monkey from Left Hand. I was surprisingly disappointed by that.

I'm not a big Stone fan but I tried a sample of their Smoked Porter made with Vanilla Bean today at Valley Wine Cellar and that stuff is fan-fucking-tastic. Also, I grabbed a 4-pack of DFH Burton Baton. Never saw or heard of that before. An oak aged Imperial IPA that is also 10.0%.

LOL. Yeah, I'm in the minority on that one but their Smoked Porter w/ vanilla bean is pretty incredible.

Stone usually makes intense hoppy beers, which I love...realllllly love. Best beer I've ever had was an aged double bastard on tap. I would pay a lot to have that again.killer_ewok;1225250 wrote:LOL. And to get Mr. Traps attention The Wife suggested we have a Cigar on the deck with it. She's having a Carmelo Joe from COA. I'm having a RP 1990 SMALL, so hopefully it will smoke the same.
Time out as it's starting to rain and gotta move under the deck above us.

Well shit as I managed to kick over my glass in the dark. Lucky it was only about six ounces. Still sucks.
But tonight I'll leave you with a great beer, a decent cigar, and a nice little shower...until it downpours on us.

And you don't wanna. It's a Carmel infused/flavored COA that comes in a small metal tube. I call them a chick cigar as The Wife likes them, them and CAO Cherry Bomb.O-Trap;1225443 wrote:Definitely a good stick, yours is.

EDIT: and you won't have one Otrap because I misspelled it. It's Caramelo Joe.
Little Kings so far tonight...FTW!!!
