Well I picked up about 5 Jolly Pumpkin's tonight. Also grabbed some Two Hearted, Thirsty Dog Hoppus Maximus, and some LE Monster. Already had a couple of the Bells and a couple of the Dog. Not sure whether to move on to the LE Monster or break into the stash and have an AleSmith Speedway Stout.

Maybe I should just play it safe...NOT !!!

I'm lucky you didn't quote my pic and say 'You are Ugly buddy'...even though it's the truth.

(guess it helps holding your KBS as hostage)

For now until I go on a bender...kiddin'...Well maybe. My bender days are behind me, or are they? My life might be a bender everyday, sans the Miller Lite as of late. And by as of late I mean since 2005.

Actually the KBS will ALWAYS be there for ya Bro, whenever you finally get it.

What bottles did you get? I've been tightening up my beer budget lately but might have to pick some up, sounds really good right now.

Got some good ones. Fuego del Otono and Madrugada Obscura are amazing, prolly 2nd and 3rd fav from JP. I wasn't all that impressed with Weizen Bam and haven't had the others yet so looking forward to a review from you.

Tried our latest batch (slightly hoppier clone of DFH Indian Brown Ale) and save for slightly lower carbonation than we were looking for I am absolutely floored. I think it's actually better than the DFH, though I'm a bit biased.

Just killed a 6 pack of The Wright Pils. As far as I always knew it was only sold at the Great Lakes brewery/gift shop but happened to see it at the grocery store tonight so picked some up. I enjoy a really good Pilsner (especially this time of year) and I liked it when I was at the brewery so had to grab it. Is extremely smooth and goes down easy; don't know any brewery that does lagers better than Great Lakes.

This is the first year they're distributing The Wright Pils.

I get the GL newsletter and don't remember seeing anything about it in there. Either way it's very good, first thing that comes to mind is balance. Has the perfect combination of malt and hops, could drink it all day (even though I'm kind of drunk right now.

And to think it was right next to the LE Monster tonight and I passed on it again, not the Monster that is. I might have to try The Wright if they still have it next week. I just didn't know much about The Wright.

I did score a Stone 10th Anny Ruination IPA tonight. Wasn't on the shelf, but being the snob I am they knew I would want it and grabbed it from their stash for me...love knowing the people where ya buy your beer.

Nice! You'll have to post your thoughts when you try it. I'd imagine it'll be soon...

Well not tonight as I've had some LE Monsters and a couple or three or four of the Two Hearted. Need to Start with this beer to give an honest review. Some time this week hopefully.

However I have been nursing a JP Weizen Bam. Loving this great sour beer. Really surprised by it. Will buy it again. Of course I might be gettin' tarted and being loved being sucked into sours...and couldn't be happier as Summer is the best time for them.

Okay now that, that thing is over I'm on to another LE Monster, and then to nite nite...maybe.

Mmm ... just polished off my third KBBA, which was the last thing aging in my basement. I split it with a buddy. That stuff gets SO much better after some time on the shelf.
