Also i spent most of my life drinking Smirnoff and just now got to liking beers. Started with the shitty light beers Bud Busch Keystone. Now i am learning there are beers that taste good and not like complete ass.

My wife likes it too, I can't stand it. That's a better comparison than I could have made. I was at Quaker Steak the other day for lunch, and was not digging their choices (not a lager guy), so in a moment of desperation, I ordered a Summer Shandy. I think I took two sips. Blech.

If you like this, I'd recommended Abita Strawberry Harvest if you can find it. I think he's everyone's home slizzle and I know he's big enough to take the abuse and dish it back. The Wife and I were lucky enough to meet him a while back when he was in Cincy. Drinking the Hop Stoopid now, it's been a long time since I had it and remember it being good but not great. Not much has changed, it's not bad for the price (around $5) but plenty of better DIPAs out there. Lagunitas uses a hop extract and think that could affect the taste.

The samuel smith oatmeal stout was very good. I am not a fan of ales, especially IPA's, but the sumpin sumpin of lagunitas was good.
