I highly disagree with this. Drinking out of one glass vs. another may not make the beer taste completely different, but it's going to enhance certain aspects making the experience that much better. Do you use different glasses or mostly standard pint glasses? Like I said it's not going to dramatically change the flavor of a beer; rather certain aspects to make the beer more enjoyable. A good example would be drinking a 12% barleywine out of a pilsner glass. Pilsners are smooth easy drinking beers and the glass allows for that, it's pretty simple to down it quick. A big barleywine is going to be a sipper, so it'd be better to have a smaller glass like a chalice to drink from. How about a week ago I was at Bocktown in Pittsburgh and they were charging $8.50 for a bottle of Palate Wrecker. That just seemed ridiculous to me so I put it back. They had a great selection but were overpriced IMO. I did grab a Brooklyn Brewery Summer Ale, Pennant Ale and Black Chocolate Stout before leaving. Still haven't had any of them yet though.
That's what I figured. That place is literally just feet inside of Indiana. I need to make it there one day. Tomorrow nite I'll be having some Fat Tire and some Abbey from New Belgium while in Colorado. Saturday's The Wife's birthday so were are going to Palisade Brewing where they are having some type of party at the Brewery. (sundress and sarongs ???)
