Had a Trois Pistoles this evening. It's been quite some time, I think, but it was enjoyable.

Not much has changed, it's not bad for the price (around $5) but plenty of better DIPAs out there. Lagunitas uses a hop extract and think that could affect the taste.
I'm not a huge lagunitas fan. Their beers are ok, never had one that was great. Even had their lucky 13, thought it was meh.

Probably just going simple and grabbing some Yuengling tonight. The place I'm going does have something I want to try though. I think it was Ohio Brewing Company.

If I lived closer I would have brought my chainsaw over and helped to lighten your load.

While not exotic it is very solid. Nice choice.

My pub is out of the LE Monster, on tap. I did grab a four pack of it while at the store today.

Just had the Stone Colllaboration TBA and More Brown Than Black. Both were 'good'. I'd drink them again, but nothing special. Just solid as any Stone should be.

Just now had my first taste of the Weyerbacher Riserva. Freaking YUM. You can smell the Rasperry on the nose, and a hint of the bitterness. Once tasted the sourness comes right out...and I'm really into sours right now. (bought more JP's tonight too) I will be buying more of this Riserva. This was one beer at Beer Fest that I wanted to try, but missed it for some reason. This is defiantly a 4.3 to 4.5 on a scale to 1-5. One that every one should try. I'll be buying more next time....Nuff said.

Sounds good. I'll have to keep an eye out for it next time I'm at the store.

'Founders' says it all. Good Stuff as always. I know one guy that only collects/ages Founders. (but this one shouldn't be aged as it's an IPA after all) I'll grab this every now and then to rotate around my everyday IPA flavors.

Havent had it. They were at the Beer Fest and I wanted to try them, but never made it to their booth. I believe Pants might have had their stuff. Sorry I couldn't help.

Ah. My buddy told me before to try it but I never knew where to get it until I came upon it today. I should've went and put together another 6 pack but I didn't really feel like driving up there. I will probably make it up there on Monday or Tuesday.

The way I see it is it's a Craft Beer so it won't suck. There are always some better and some worse. Just enjoy and keep tasting them all.

Grabbed some Wright Pils, LEM and Troegs Perpetual IPA over the last few days. Obviously the LEM is one of my faves. The WP is good for that style and the Perpetual IPA was really good as well.

I've had a few of theirs. I've liked them. Haven't had enough of them to have a really complete opinion though.

But they definitely don't suck.

I'm still a poor college student so I usually just get cheap stuff, but I'm trying to expand a little. I've been going to this place here in Lexington every few weeks that just rotates stuff like that on 10 taps. Definitely worth it.

I saw a website about the 12 beers you should only drink in college, it was pretty entertaining.

But you are paying the price now to have a better beer drinking life in the future. Good for you.
