Pretty equal well balanced competitive league for small schools!!! Just remember, Waynedale is your friend!!! Especially in wrestling!

145 or 152? Better be a skill position player.

And Waynedale is no one's friend on the wrestling mats. They are a** kickers and name takers reagardless of what a certain poster from the creek would have you believe. The cupboard isn't bare.

Word on the street is that Smithville had a player quit....not just an average player either. Does anyone know anything about that? It may be just a rumor

How would someone from Orrville not know anything about the WCAL? We are in Wayne County. I've been in Orrville all of my life and I know whos who in Wayne County.

When you're talking rivalry in the WCAL you can't really leave out Norwayne and Smithville. It's much newer but those 2 just dont like each other.

Rittman and Chippewa is one of the biggest rivals in the state! they are the only 2 WCAL schools who play for a trophy when they play eachother.. May not mean alot to the rest of the WCAL but winning the big chief is HUGE for these 2 schools. I bet if u ask the players on Rittman and Doylestown if they would rather win the league or win the big cheif most of them would probably say win the big cheif. Just ask madman haha!

Not gonna lie, I would probably have to agree with demoralizer. Cops stake out both stadiums in the days leading up to the games. I don't know any rivalries in the league that intense.

They may both be looking for the first win when they play that game

As far as the Rehm kid from Smithville goes, nobody that I know even knows who he is. What grade is he going to be in? Was he a varsity player?
