We've got a member of the press in the house!

Patience. It may happen, but concentrate on getting to that point first.

If Smithville can hit a few big plays, I could see a high scoring affair (35-28) but Smithville will need to sustain drives, eat clock, hold onto the football and keep the Waynedale offense on the sidelines.
Let's Go Green!!!
Waynedale is rarely an easy game for the Smithies, and their balanced offense worries me. Hopefully the DBs play sharp and the D-line and LBs gets good penetration. Otherwise, it might turn into a last-man-scoring match. We've won games like that before, but they're never pretty.
I have to say that I was truly impressed with the Smithie RBs this past week. I know it was against a young team, but they all ran like men possessed. One run in particular, Ian Steiner's TD rumble where he broke several tackles ... not arm tackles, but wrap-up tackles ... was impressive. That was the kind of running that the Smithies did back when they were a perennial playoff team.
If those three backs in the stable (Steiner, Hilty, & Shane) and Bates all stay healthy and keep working and playing with a purpose, they're gonna be tough to stop.
