Watched part of their game last night against UNC-Ashville and I didnt hear too much from him but it sounds like he had a good night and has had a good season. Surprised a bigger school didnt take a chance on him after the success of his brother.

I did, and I was shocked as well. Granted, he is nowhere near EJ, and in HS his stats were so-so on a loaded HS team. But he never shined in AAU either. But I DID think it would be a case where he got the offer just because he is a "Gordon"

BTW, Eron Gordon, the youngest and last Gordon brother, is said to be the best for the age. He is tearing up (I know, I know) Middle School and I think finished 4th in the country last year in the National AAU tourney. I would bet he will end up at IU.

I think comparing Jimmer to Chris Jackson from LSU is the best comparison Ive read yet. Yes, Jackson had a nice little 10 yr NBA career.

Just curious as to why you think hes closer to Jackson than Curry. Jackson was a bit before my time so cant really comment on him

Well, I was mainly looking at eaches level of competition. They are both comparable players. Size wise Curry and Fredette are more similar. Whereas Jackson was 6'1" 165. I just thought Fredette and Jackson (LSU) played more higher quality levels of talent compared to Davidsons schedule. Jackson had a nice 10 yr NBA career and Curry looks like he will. Can only hope Jimmer does too. I just dont see it.

What happened to this award being Singlers in the preseason hands down according to the delusional Duke fans?? Kid isn't even worthy of being considered for the first team all America

The same can be said about pre-season 1st Team All American Harrison Barnes from NC. He wont even make 3rd team in the ACC. Is why pre-season awards of any kind are not worth the paper they are written on.

I have always thought Barnes was overrated as a recruit.

Yeah i dont remember him in college, just remember him after his name change in the NBA(apparently hes still playing Pro in Japan)

I think Jimmer MIGHTTT get a shot at a long career in the NBA if he falls into the right situation
