Troy loves him some Aaron Rodgers, that's for sure. If you've watched any Packer game this year with him broadcasting, there's some serious man crush action there.

You better believe that we are the hated ones ... Dallas does not want to hand a Lombardi over to the Stillers on there home field .. All stops will be out to stop the Burgh .. We are the Villians .. You can bet the announcers will be biased against us . they usually are

How in the hell is Green Bay favored ? The only reason is the betters that bet and most are novices .... We have a two time super bowl team and QB and they have this glamour king that came after Farve He isnt prooven in the big one .. glad we are underdogs but its an insult and believe that will add fuel ..

I think, all time, favorites in the Super Bowl are 32-12 (.727) but a 2.5 spread is pretty low by SB standards. Most are 3+ point spreads. It's basically a toss-up.

Although, I did find this tidbit from prior to SB XLIII:
The last four times the spread has been a field goal or less, the games have ended in 20+ point blowouts.

The rumor among bookies is that Vegas favored Green Bay because GB as the dawgs was killing their bottom line.

I have bet for 30 years and point spreads are a guage as to how the money flows nothing more .
Especially in a big event like the Super Bowl .. I am very good at football betting and the spot is misplaced on this one from my perspective . GB may very well win because they are very good ,but experiance in this game means something .. No team will have a home field advatage in this one so throw that equation out .. Ben has two rings Rogers has yet played in the game .. Injuries are the thing if our center is well and Troy is able to move side to side Look out I think our center will be 75% and Troy will still be 75% havent got a GB injury report yet , but I am sure they are baged up as well ... GB is suseptible to the run but they have an outstanding pass rush ... Our D is going to lay the wood to Rogers He hasnt faced that venom yet .. I think the Steelers should be a 3 point favorite .. Having said that I am glad we are the underdogs .. this game is a tight one to pick but I like the Stillers ... Too bad I have to make my bets close to Pittsburgh .. The line around here will most likely favour Pittsburgh it will be maybe -1 Steelers or even -2 its how the money flows ... As a whole most Americans will be betting GB .. They havent been to the dance in awhile and Americans are sentimental .. Your pro betters will probably be going with the steelers 75%

A couple things that give me confidence from the Steelers side of it

- the Packers were only 18th in the NFL in run defense, as I mentioned yesterday. They've done a lot better in the playoffs but then again they've played from the lead a lot. The Steelers have rushed the ball well down the stretch.

- I think the Steelers are better prepared regardless of how things unfold. Of course, if Rodgers comes out and picks the Steelers apart then the Packers have a great shot. Most are banking on that. But what if that doesn't happen quite that well? Even if it is a shootout, I think Ben and the Steelers can match fire for fire. If it's low scoring and a brawl, the Steelers will be ready for that, too. The Packers have mostly had their way in the NFC playoffs. If the Steelers get them down how will they respond?

I'm not saying it won't happen, just that I'd be supremely surprised if the Packers find themselves down by 24 at any point. Even a 17-point deficit would be shocking. I think their largest deficit faced this year is 7 - against the Falcons in the divisional round, twice.

I guess I could see that as a potential disadvantage as well, that they haven't had to face in-game adversity, but it would seem the team and coaching staff does an excellent job at keeping the game within reach at all times.

True but even if you're careful and well coached it only takes a few plays to fall behind by a couple scores. A long pass, a deflected pass for interception, etc. Anything can happen. I think the Steelers are better prepared for any situation.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's pretty even in regard to the fan attendance at this year's Super Bowl. I think the Steelers will have an edge fan-wise but I don't think it will be by THAT much.

Also, I don't see either team racing out to a 3 possession lead. 2 TD's max IMO and that might be early on but I think it will be a nailbiter. This is a toss up IMO. It has all the makings of an incredible Super Bowl. GO STEELERS!!! I can't wait for 2/6 either!

The quarterback seemed to be woozy and wasn't able to connect with receivers after the play.Rodgers passes seemed to be falling short and Rodgers seemed to be a little dazed coming off the field

Seen it on NFL.com forum. It makes sense. Rodgers came out on fire and then seemed off his game after the hit. I was impressed how he jumped up and spit blood.

I didn't get to watch much of that game because I went to the Steelers game. But I recorded it on the DVR. I'll have to watch it sometime this week.

I would have bet the same thing but I heard on ESPN today that tickets are being sold to Wisconsin people over PA people by a 2-1 count ... Man I dont like that .. I want the Stiller nation to overwhelm Jerry's world We got to get on the ball .. sound the alarms ... People with the means need to buy buy buy I dont have it or Id be there
