Yeah I'm pretty sure they said he was ready to go before the game. Fsn did a whole segment on how his Spanish team did ankle strengthening exercises in practice. And that he has "stronger" ankles than most

Trust me, I completely understand their situation. Losing is going to happen, I've gotten beyond the disappointment of that. It's the embarassment of it that gets to be testing. All the way back to the Heat game in Cleveland, they showed him in the locker room talking about not caring what the final score would end up. Have at least a little pride. And obviously Eyenga was cleared to play, but does that mean you play him when it's clearly a blowout of epic proportions? One would think with the plethora of injuries the Cavs have sustained in the last few weeks that you would try to prevent further injuries whenever possible.

Byron Scott has a history of teams quitting on him. The Cavs are just doing it a lot sooner than the Nets or Hornets did.

Riiiiiigggggghhhhttttt...

Because guys like Manny Harris, Samardo Samuels, Alonzo Gee, etc.. have earned the right to quit on ANY NBA team?

LOL.

Fact is, this team is TANKING. I realize this, as does any other logical NBA fan.

It's a D-League roster playing in the NBA.....Kind of like the Indians trying to win with a minor league team. It just doesn't work.

Regular season games don't mean anything. At least that's what the lakers fan's say.

See ya in the finals.... Ha. God this team is so much worse then i even expected.

Good call. Because that's clearly who I was talking about. Not the guys (looking at you Hickson) who Byron Scott called out for essentially not giving a shit. Also a good call because they've all been playing extensive minutes during this entire 1-21 stretch. Not like Gee was signed 12 days ago and Samuels has appeared in 7 games all season or anything...

This team sucks. Any 'logical NBA fan' would have seen that from the beginning (rather than, say, ridiculously predicting an above .500 finish and playoff birth. A 'logical NBA fan' also wouldn't call Byron Scott a 'master of in-game adjustments'. I digress though). While they do suck and might be the worst team in the league, they don't suck badly enough to lose 78 games, which is the pace they've been at for 6 weeks.

They were demoralized after the Miami game, and they've completely given up. Aka they've quit. Now that Varejao is hurt, there isn't any scrap in this team anymore. When you lack talent you have to make up for it by playing hard. If you don't, you lose by 55 points.

Actually I think Byron can sum it up pretty well himself: "I’m sure I’m not the only coach that has to tell his guys that they have to go out and play hard every single night, ‘We have to compete tonight’ and things like that."

He isn't the only coach who has to say it, but he might be the only coach whose players don't respond to it.

I agree that the Miami game did this team in. Their play since then proves it.

But it's also obvious to everybody right now that this team is:

Ouch. Just saw the score.

I'll admit I don't follow the NBA that much but can't they make a trade and try to shake things up a little bit?

Obviously LeBron isn't coming back but maybe they can pick up some young athletic dude who can bring a spark.

NBA games are too short, the Cavs had a 60-1 run in them.

A fake twitter account for KG(KGTrashTalk) tweeted...

Be easy though Princess @King James, God also saw Delonte puttin' it doooooown.

Someone else said that the Cavs still have the upper hand because losing by 55 isn't as bad as having Delonte pound Gloria.

Another said that LeBron will come out today and say he didn't know the definition of Karma(like he did with contraction).

Good for LeBron. He was right on with tweet.

This is the worst team in the NBA, nobody else is even in the discussion right now.
