If that trade has potential truth to it I would like to know who the 2 players are...but could you imagine having 2 1st rd picks and 2 2nd rd picks in next yrs draft...that could really help out this team. I am doubtful this has hardly any truth to it at all but just saying if it was a possibility it could be good too. I love Hillis but both sides on this whole thing are going about it very poorly...they shouldnt have even said they were trying like crazy to get him a deal. Should have just done the DQ Jackson way and let him play well and earn his money (contrat) that way.

Choice is on the block, would take a 2nd rounder for Hillis and defs take a 2nd and Choice... Plus get a WR that's better than Robiskie... This deal is done if it's ever offered or Heckert is a pos

Yup, see Terrell Davis on the 2x SB winning Broncos.

maybe Bill Cowher's house in strongsville talked to LBJ staying in cleveland which heard it from Braylon being traded to the Giants

I would take that trade in a heartbeat.....anything to improve the team is a good thing. Hillis is a good RB, but his style will only last so long.

One thing I will say is if their are any trade talks going on, nobody will know about them until a deal is done....Heckert likes to work behind closed doors and not let everyone know what he is doing. So I would not be surprised to see something happen.

That trade probably can't get done on Madden. The ESPN Trade Machine thinks that trade is ridiculous.

Let's hope that McCoy can turn it around and finish out the year where the coaching staff thinks he can get it done and we can get wideouts like Alshon Jeffery, Justin Blackmon, and Michael Floyd since we have 2 picks in the 1st 2 rounds...and then focus on getting some LBs OL after that.

Surprised you're even a fan of the Browns since your little buddy Crynasty wont cop to rooting for any team other than OSU basketball. Figured you took his similar pathetic approach to sports with being a player fan.

Also 2 rookie WRs would be a fucking joke. I would be super pissed if we wasted 2 first picks on WRs. Hell look at the top wideouts this past yr, Jones is on Atlanta paired with Roddy White and they're by no means even a lock for the playoffs with a way better QB than Colt McCoy. WRs are finicky (if dyasty is reading over you shoulder, be sure to show him the dictionary definition of that word so he can follow along) and hard to predict. 2 top WRs don't = success in the NFL. We need Oline and LBer help first. Then we need to build some depth on oline/secondary. Then a WR would be my pecking order. We take one WR in the first round I wouldn't jump off the 480 bridge, but we pull an idiot Erica Womangini like move and spend 2 premium picks on the hardest position to transition to in the NFL and I would be pissed. Most pundits(again show your idiot friend a dictionary) say it takes 3 years for most WRs to make a transition to the NFL game. If McCoy is waiting 3 years for his WRs to pan out he'll be out of a job along with the rest of the FO/coaching staff.

Broncos get a 6th round pick for Loyd, so i dont see the Browns getting a 2nd AND players for Hillis

I wouldnt really expect the Browns to take 2 wr's with their first 2 picks next year...I was just thinking of what it would be like to have a wr core of Little, Blackmon/Jeffery/Floyd and MoMass...but they definitely do need some OL help and some help in the LB corps and some more DB help...Brown doesnt have much more left IMO.

You have problems.

And no, I'm not a Browns fan anymore. They continue their pathetic play and its too frustrating to watch their offense. I haven't even watched their last 3 games. And I love that it bothers you that I root for whoever I choose. Go get laid before you criticize my allegiance.

Thanks for proving my point from last year when you tried to go out of your way to defend yourself and prove you were an actual true fan of the Browns. Gotta love when things come in full circle and you are exposed for the idiot you are. Like
I have been saying from the beginning, you are an Ohio troll and the worst part is you don't know wtf you are talking about. Do us real browns a favor, whenever the Browns final get it together stay the fuck away. We don't need idiots like you supporting the team.

Uhh maybe because he only has had one good year and he is 30. Nice fail idiot. Stick to spewing your bullshit in the NBA forums. At least there you can somewhat hide the fact that you are a dumbass.

BR1986FB;937044 wrote:Wouldn't doubt this either. He very well could be gone.

If McCoy keeps regressing I could see them packaging picks (ATL 1st) to move up for Luck if a team like the Rams ends up with the #1 overall. Think this may have been the regimes plan from the get go. Draft a QB in the 3rd (McCoy), if he pans out great, if not draft the franchise once other pieces are in place.
Peter King said recently that the starting point on a Luck package would be 3 first round picks (and more), and that would require a team like the Rams getting the pick who could justify passing on him.

Eli Manning garnered a pair of first round picks +, and Luck is at a different level than he was. Couple that with the fact signability no longer is an issue deterring teams from wanting to move up, and I think we could see a team mortgage the future in a way we haven't seen since the Herschel Walker trade if the team drafting first shows a willingness to consider trading Luck.

smh at this guy

and if we don't get either 2 lbs or 1 lb and 1 linemen, with our first two picks i'll be pissed. I don't doubt heckert, i just think it's crucial we get legit linebackers

Heckert knows there is WR value in the 2nd n 3rd rounds, he will address real needs first

How many times are we going to keep saying this, until we finally grab a first rounder that will actually make plays for us?

Greg Little is 5 games into his career. He's looking pretty good. Too many WRs flame out or don't live up their draft slot. First round WRs seem to have the highest bust potential, I'm perfectly fine with never taking a 1st round WR.
