They are right there with Sacramento.

1 win in December only strengthens that point.

I went to the game last night. Felt like I was at a Flint Tropics game. Can't remember the last time I went and there was such a lack of energy and excitement in the crowd. I'd say the Cavs are pretty close to being the worst. Their defensive rotation to cover the 3 was atrocious. What ever happened to Byron Scott running complex schemes that will require a learning curve? Alonzo Gee played 27 minutes despite signing Tuesday! I think that says it all about the Cavs right now.

I'm waiting for Footwedge to dispute this claim of the Cavs being the worst, he said they would win 45 games.

You knew Jordo had to chime in. Dude whines when people call out the Bengals and their fanbase and yet hes the first in line to diss another team and their fans.

Where's dynasty to tell Ford that he's no right about Anderson. He should write ford telling him how bad of a contract/player Varejao is, lolfail.

If I had as much time on my hands, I'd go through old threads where you look like a dumbass, but then again, it doesn't take much to find that LOL.

And you and Dynasty are either A) the same person or B) Sphincter pals.

As for the Cavs being the worst, no. But they are close. As Mulva said, Washington is still the worst. Cleveland will blow shit up though.

Nah not saying I told you so at all. Just kind of laughing at how far off you were, coupled with the fact that you were being so confrontational because I (and dynasty) did not agree that they were going to be good. By confrontational, I am referring to the part where you accuse dynasty and me of being homos because we said that the Cavs weren't going to be good.

You making me look dumb? This is about the 1000th time I've been right about the Cavs/NBA while you continue to be on a perpetual dry spell.

Yeah. That's what I'd be thinking. If I was a GM for a contending team, I'd love to lift Andy from you for his hustle plays, defense and rebounding. Depending on my needs, I could see me going for Boobie (shooting) or Hickson (athlete). But Mo or Jamison? If I had a shit-ton of money to burn, I might consider Jamison as a vet off the bench. Mo...an expensive back-up guard who disappears in crunch time isn't a valuable commodity.

LMAO. no.

Fact is, the Cavs weren't playing that bad up until the Miami game. While I think the Cleveland game gave Miami what they needed, it also destroyed the Cavs psyche. This team just hasn't been the same since that night.

You can continue to stroke yourself over the fact that I called for the Cavs to win more games than they are, but there is nothing wrong with a fan doing that, I wasn't the only one. Unlike yourself, most of us have a team and are not ones to follow the "hottest" thing in the NBA.

Your NBA knowledge is terrible. The only thing you called right was Cleveland being bad, and you didn't call that because you thought they would be, you called that because you're a Cleveland troll.

I'm guessing you thought Cincy would be a terrible NFL team this year, right? LOL.

if not THE worst, they're certainly in the running. Agree they need to completely blow this team up, and start over. You/re not going to get any top flight free agents sign here without a Lebron to draw them here, You need to build through the draft and get what mid level FA's you can to help. Still think the model is the Bad Boys Pistons of the 80's. Become a rough and tough team with grit and not afraid to give a hard foul or two; Cleveland fans would eat that up---esp. when miami comes to town.

They weren't getting any top flight FA's WITH Lebron for 7 years.

Yeah, but is this because they strapped themselves financially at every deadline? Keeping Lebron happy really handicapped what they were able to do IMO. The one time they tried..they ended up with Larry fuckin Hughes.

Lebron didnt exactly help himself out either. When the Cavs were after guys like Artest, Ariza and Redd etc...Lebron would give them no indication that he was going to stay in Cleveland. He also never approached a Bosh about becoming a Cavalier last summer. He had it planned for years

Blow it up like Houston wants to do now that Yao is out for the season....

I say help the Rockets out and do what you have to do to get Kevin Martin here. At least give the franchise some Ohio flavor. No body on the roster is from Ohio. I'm not saying they MUST have someone from Ohio on the team but without any good young players to go watch why not give the fans some local flavor? I am not even a Martin fan and I am from a town 30 miles from his hometown of Zanesville. Every other bad team has at least one player that their fans should want to go see (Blake,Evans,Wall when healthy, Lopez and Harris, Love....I might be pushing it with Harris and Lopez).

The Miami game killed this team. They are weak mentally. As for the overall record, the Cavs would probably win 30-35 games if Mike Brown was still the coach. Scott came in and destroyed the defensive scheme and identity this team had. The Cavs have trouble scoring at times, but the defense has been consistently terrible.

The win goes goes to hoops though in that thread:

He then went on to accuse me and dynasty of being the same person or lovers because we did not agree with him.
I didn't go back and reread the old thread, but I'm sure it's comical. I was getting blasted on here for thinking the Cavs were going to be a bottom feeder.
Mr. Russell;617728 wrote:Is it possible to blow it up, but still keep Andy :( It will take years and years and years if we get rid of all viable talent we have.
Keep him for what purpose? If he has any value at all, you ship him off now. He's already hit his peak or is there now, and he won't have much value on a losing team. If they can steal a piece from a team that thinks he will make a difference, you do it.
Commander of Awesome;617990 wrote:Where's dynasty to tell Ford that he's no right about Anderson. He should write ford telling him how bad of a contract/player Varejao is, lolfail.
Ford is "no" right on Anderson. Take him off the Cavs team and you hardly notice it. And yes, he is overpaid. Pretty sure I've cited Ford before and you have ripped his credibility, so good job of being a hypocrite.

As for the question at hand. I don't know if they are the worst or not, but they are by far in the absolute worst shape of any team in the NBA. Other teams have younger talent, or at least some talent. The Cavs do not have one player that they should be holding in high enough regards that they are untouchable. Pretty sad. And how many people thought Hickson was going to develop into an All Star this year? That would be comical to go back and read.

Hard to believe that this nucleus was the same team that Gilbert put around Lebron. I said it when he left, but how can you blame Lebron for going elsewhere? He carried this franchise for multiple years and never got rewarded with some help. Pat Riley accomplished in one day, more than Gilbert could in 7 years.

And Gilbert thought Hickson was so valuable that he wouldn't give him up for Amare. You can't blame Lebron for being honest with potential free agents.

@ KR1245 uh... go back and look at the Bengal threads. I am a fan, but I'm not delusional. I've said multiple times that they are horrible. Not once have I argued any differently. I think you are referring to the thread where somebody said Bengal fans were terrible. I just merely brought up how ironic it was that the people doing the tweaking (mostly Browns fans) were doing so the same day that Cleveland Browns Stadium was barely over half full.

And I really can't believe you are questioning the NBA knowledge... how quick we forget last season (Celtics vs. Cavs, the possibility of Lebron leaving, the Knicks being a playoff team, etc).

and once again I am a troll for being right about how the Cavs would perform. Cool. smh

See post directed at KR1245 about the Bengals. They suck, they're terrible. I have no problem accepting that. I'm not sure what you're point is. I mean, I can take off the fan glasses and can be logical.

I don't think you can blame Cavs fans for not filling up and bringing energy to Charlotte's building, seeing as how that is where they played last night. Of course, if you were at the Q last night, I'm sure it was pretty dead.

Why do you continue to bring up this false point? Phoenix wouldn't pull the trigger and the Cavs moved on. Windhorst, Hollinger, Bucher, all have said this already.

Cavs fans realize that they are terrible. Its the "I told you so" posts that are pretty damn annoying. Cavs fans made some predictions and they were wrong, it happens. I'm sure Bengals fans did the same thing before the season started.

I do believe this is a blessing in disguise though. Much better to have a complete down year and grab a lottery pick than it is to stroll on the treadmill of mediocrity that is 40 win seasons and not much else.
