The vast majority on this thread comprehend you as a selfish hater.

My "profound statement" addressed your non-thinker, mind-boggling statement. Prescott thinks WAY WAY to highly of himself when he says, "I enjoy watching competative basketball and Matta chose not to give that too me." Matta DOES NOT care what you like or want. Why would Matta give a nobody like your or me anything??? I expect NOTHING MORE from Matta over and above what he has already favored us with.

They would be wrong , just as you often are. I'm anything bit a hater.

I'm not buying it because I give them credit for being able to read and comprehend. That is not one of your strong points.

BTW, that great South Carolina team that OSU manhandled lost by 20 at home to BC. Being the great team the Gamecocks are, they whittled down the deficit from 30 to 20 in the last 10 minutes of the game.

BTW Liar, show us where I said anything about the great South Carolina team. My only issue are Matta whiners.

I give others here credit because they can comprehend what an ugly whiner you are.

Again, the comprehension problem. I did not claim that you, specifically, called South Carolina a great team.

I think they comprehend the substance of the issue, which seems to evade you.

As cbf put it:
Prescott...I am not sure ANYONE disagrees with you.

So, you were talkng to yourself again when you brought up the great South Carolina team? You're personality defect?

Here's a homework assignment for ya. Look up the SOS of the last 10 National Champions. It will make you whine about something else.

Again, the poor comprehension. We have not been discussing the SOS of any team other than tOSU. Why? Because most of us don't care about who other teams play.

Just for you!!!

Bear in mind OSU's overall SOS is 191 and the non-conference(OOC) schedule is at 220.

Duke (2010)-13(OOC);3 (Overall)
UNC (2009)- 27 (OOC); 12(Overall)
Kansas(2008)-39(OOC); 10 (Overall)
Fla.(2007)- 145(OOC); 48 (Overall)
Fla.(2006)- 196(OOC); 50 (Overall)
UNC(2005)-18(OOC);2 (Overall)
UConn (2004)- 73(OOC); 24(Overall)
Syracuse (2003)- 29(00C); 17(Overall)

http://kenpom.com/index.php?y=2011

Not much to complain about. Florida was a little gutless, but the other champions played above average schedules. Thanks for encouraging me to delve further into the quality of schedules. It shows just how weak OSU's schedule really is. Thanks again.

More proof of your lack of comprehension skills. How many times on this thread have YOU preached this is only about non-conference scheduling?? THUS......OBVIOUSLY ......FOR YOU...... the query posed was about those team's NON-CONFERENCE Streghth of Schedule number.

Do more research, you will see that the vast majority of those teams had a triple didget NON-CONFERENCE SOS number. All top teams from top conferences SOS climbs during the conference schedule and league tournaments, so that by the end of the regular season their SOS is much lower than at the end of their non-conference schedule. As I have noted, more than once, ALL of the top teams from top conferences have non-conference schedules that include 67% nobodies.

Those numbers are clearly referenced in the post. Now, I am wondering if you know how to read.According to KENPOM.COM, Florida is the ONLY team with a triple digit non-conference schedule(both years) and the Gators did not surpass OSU's OOC SOS number of 220. Go Bucks!! Thanks again, for the encouragement.

OOC=Non-conference

Kansas gave up 52, not 53.

So what?? These games do not impact OSU's OOC SOS. I just checked. OSU's OOC SOS is now 221.That is a big number , no matter how you look at it or how you spin it.

No matter how you spin it, you cannot prove that big number will have any affect on the numbers that count. Big Ten Title and NCAA Tournament. Just like you cannot prove a lower number would change their finish in the Big Ten or NCAA Tournament.

I've never claimed that it did.In fact, I don't think it does. That has never been the argument. If that is what you thought was going on, reading and comprehension are a a big problem for you.

Last year, OSU played 3 of 4 of the Final Four teams. All three on the road btw. They also had UNC and Cal. Next year, OSU has a return with Florida, goes to South Carolina, plays another ACC team(probably back with UNC or maybe Duke is my guess) and adds Kansas to their schedule. Again, this year is weak, no question. But overall, Matta has done a fairly decent job with the schedule.

This isn't relevant, but it does show that you read and understood my last post. I'll give you a gold star and an "Atta Boy" for your hard work and showing a comprehension level that far exceeds your previous efforts.

Duke has 0.

This is current as of today.
