FYI...poor people love Mt. Dew more than any other pop. This is a legit debate and 99% of people I've asked agree.

I used to work for a less-that-truckload trucking company. One of our clients was a warehouse in South Columbus that shipped flavoring concentrates for a major soft drink company to the individual bottlers (I think they would then mix this stuff with high-fructose corn syrup to make the flavoring syrup).

The acid content was such that had to tagged and placarded as a hazardous material (corrosive).

I drink a Pepsi Max a day and probably 2 coffees. I need to. They say everything is bad for you, so I'm not really worried. And Fab, when 60 minutes did a special on Appalachia they said all the poor folk drank Mtn. Dew like crack, and it also made them lose a ton of teeth. So I agree, poor people love Mtn. Dew more than any other soda. The dentist on the show said it has more sugar then any other soda and is why they lose more teeth than anyone else.

There is nothing else I would rather drink than Mountain Dew. I'll go to a restaurant that has Mountain Dew, even if I don't like the food there. I'd rather be hungry than thirsty. The only times I don't drink Mountain Dew is when there is none available.

So I'm snobby because Evian is my favorite water? :) Atleast I don't drink the snobby Figi water! I drink mostly extra sweet Litpon tea, if homemade I gotta have at least 2 cups of sugar per gallon.

also I admit my love of Mt. Dew and admit it is a favorite of the white trash culture... my trashiest of cousins always had 2-24 pks in stock (their trashiness could be the basis of my bias)

HAHA that thread that @Fab4runner started about poor people loving Mt. Dew was probably in my top 10 of most hilarious huddle threads of all time.

Watching the building anger, and people wanting actual numbers to back up the statement, etc. That was prime.
