Interesting note, do you happen to have the number of arrests under Tressel too?
I'll try to find them, let me go check.

Only numbers I found was 30 from 2001-present, Urban is 25 from 2005-present.

I've got 30 players arrested as of July 28th, 2008

I'm sure a couple more have came since then but for discussions sake

Ohio State
30/8= 3.75 APY

Florida
25/4= 6.25 APY

If the trend continues and Urban gets 8 years, he'll have 50 arrests.

LOL I love how it's about Meyer and Tressel. Players getting arrested has nothing to do with the coach--it has everything to do with them being stupid.

I mean it is, but it has nothing to do with the coaches on either side.

I wouldn't say nothing. The coaches are the ones who recruit the players, and a lot of the guys who get in trouble in college are the same ones who have character flags coming out of high school.

In the end it should be on the players, but the coaches still have SOMETHING to do with it.

No. Urban Meyer had nothing to do with Dunlap putting drinks down his throat and getting in his car.

it was already stated that he is suspended indefinitely and is out for sure against alabama.

no need to talk about how meyer was only going to suspend him for a quarter.

How many of those arrests were Zook's recruits ? How many were arrested that should not have been ? One was for throwing a sub sandwich. One was for throwing some paper cups. One was for getting his girlfriend's car out of a lot that the owner gave him permission for, and all those and more were completely dropped. Another completely dropped was one arrest where an ex girlfriend completely made up a story, got a temporary restraining order, and then intentionally rode the same bus the player always took to get him back. He got off the bus but still got arrested. One was a player got jumped by 5 guys who tried to take his necklace, a cop was within sight, told them to stop but the player swung one more time. The other guys ran, so the player got arrested. Its not 30, its 21 arrests, 17 players. Some were the same player more than once and if it was more than once the punishment was more severe... the majority were extremely minor offenses, the rest were disciplined.

What do you Buckeyes fans have to say about Doug Worthington or Alex Boone ? Tressel did not suspend either one of them for their DUI's. Not 1 game.

The Gators are in big trouble vs. Bama. OLB A.J. Jones is out with knee injury, now Dunlap out makes that side of the defense very thin. If I was you I'd bet all your money on Bama.

I believe whether he plays in the BCS game depends on if they beat Alabama or not.

If they lose, I dont think he will play in the Sugar Bowl.
