Question to those who have played the first two and are going to play the third. While I've been interested in the series, I haven't played neither of the first two. Do I need to play those to know what's going on in the third? Wanting to pick it up but I don't want to be completely lost and not have the same experience.

You can buy a combo pack of the first 2 for $40, its a better deal and then by the time you're done you can pick up the 3rd for cheap.

At least the first two were both standalone. I only played the second game, but didn't feel lost or anything as far as the plot. You might not have the backstory for various characters, as to how they've related to each other in the past games. But each plot is separate from the previous games'.

I live with a guy (insert gay joke here) who just beat it. I have a 360, so I had no clue what Uncharted was about. From beginning to end, U3 had me glued to the tv watching him play it. Amazing graphics, awesome story, some crazy twists, etc. Very good game obviously
