Notre Dame is likely headed to the Sun Bowl against the U.

El Paso had better be kissing the ground if they get this match-up. I understood that they could have Miami (at the expense of Maryland), but to get Miami AND ND? The Sun Bowl is looking at a very nice tv rating.

Yup, unless Champs Sports Bowl passes up on 9-3 West Virginia to take Notre Dame, which Notre Dame would have to accept.

I think Michigan has a way better chance of beating Tennessee than they do Florida. Michigan's secondary is just too damn slow to keep up with Florida.

My guide says ESPN will have one starting at 9 PM, right after the BCS standings are announced/discussed ad nauseum.

I would assume that's about as official as it gets. The bowls all make their own announcements, although I don't know how the BCS announces their pairings officially. Most of the matchups will be set and announced to the public before that show on ESPN, I would think.
