And that standard is, if you are a damn good player, and you qualify through the NCAA Clearinghouse, you're in! Already had this discussion with an OSU admissions employee. So I'm saying if you have a 17 ACT and I believe a 2.5 GPA and you're a 4/5 star recruit, you go to the front of the mailing list of being accepted at OSU.
Now, if you are a 23 ACT with a 3.8 GPA and you are middle class and just want to attend OSU to go to school, you better find a map to OSU Newark for a year or two.
Completely unfair? Probably, but so is life. This goes on at every major institution in the US.
