I could stand to lose about 20 lbs. yeah. I've still come a long way, though. (Christmas of 2008 I weighed 288 lbs.)

6'0" 240. I don't want to be skinny. I'd like to be around 215. Last year I made it down to 227 (248 at that time).

I'm about the same. 5'11" and about 210 ish.

I really would like to lose 15-20, but I just don't seem to have the will power anymore.

No.

But I would much rather see somebody a bit overweight than scrawny. Scrawny has no appeal for males or females.

For example: I always thought Chris Robinson was disgusting.

Why do you want to lose weight for baseball? Speed?

If so, just work on muscle burst training.

Amish? What does that have to do with biking? It's getting to cold to bike now. I might join the Y. There's one just a few miles from the house.

There's a difference between being thin and being scrawny. Looking like the crypt keeper isn't attractive at all.
The video here is NSFW and some images are disturbing. Viewer discretion is advised (lol)

And like I said earlier, I would rather see somebody be a little overweight (that's managable) than scrawny and gross.
I'm not talking 5'4" 300lbs.

Yes. The thing is when I bike everyone looks at me like I am a leper, since I am not Amish I don't wear Amish clothing. I refuse to wear the gay bike clothing as well as the helmet. Here in Holmes county biking is different for the "English". If your biking in the colder months with sweat pants and a ski cap for your head people look at you like you have the plague.

I don't have a Y close to my house. 40-50 degree weather is the best for biking. Not too cold but not so hot you sweat your balls off and need massive amounts of water. I know some Amish that bike year round to work and none of them are fat. I bike and run in cold weather and dress appropriately. Its not that bad. I find it harder to bike or run in hot weather than cold. Although in extremely cold weather I chose to run short distances each day rather than bike. The wind chill is impossible to deal with.

6'2'', 155 as a sophomore in college. I've gained 25 lbs and an inch since graduating high school. I'm trying to gain another 30 pounds and I know that this is the best time to do it healthily. I go to the gym 5 days a week and pile on the calories, but my metabolism is too fast. I'd love some advice for weight gaining.
