Dude.....really? You could've at least spelled hippopotamus correctly!
I see if we can't beat the mighty Coshocton in football at least we'll win a spelling bee!

I expected more activity than this. Big Red people like to talk about Big Red all year.

They are still trying to get over the beatdown that Mooney put on em.

Bullshit. The loss to Mooney was disappointing but it wasn't the end of the world. Big Red has only lost four games in the past five years, and the worst team we lost to was state runner-up. That ain't too shabby!

Has anyone heard if Big Red will be playing in that classic set of games in Pennsylvania? I hope we do. I just hope we don't play Woodland Hills again. We have played them three times and beat them three times. I would rather play Gateway or PCC or one of the other big teams.

how bout Big Red/Gateway and Mooney/Woodland Hills?

That would make for a nice Ohio vs. PA challenge!

That sort of event makes ore sense than all this Herbstreit mumbo jumbo.

Sounds like a couple of good matchups.

And you're right-- Herbstreit is turning into a big mess.

Totally agreed. Herbstreit never got the best match ups for whatever reason. I think that Ohio versus Pennsylvania would get some great crowds and could actually MAKE some money.

They could rotate year to year from Ohio to PA. That way no one could complain about any sort of home field advantages.

Ohio could use places like Infocision, canton, massillon, steubenville and YSU and Pennsylvania could rotate between Woodland Hills and a few other sites.

Is there any reasons anyone can think of that this wouldn't work?

I can think of a good reason why it wouldn't work. It makes too much sense. People always seem to be opposed to good ideas.

At first scheduling conflicts for good matchups would be an issue.Other than that it is a great Idea.

Next year's classic will be at Woodland Hills, the original idea, and I don't know how it is working out, was to have a Cleveland vs. Pittsburgh flavor.

What have you got in Cleveland except Iggy and Glenville? I think they would have to pull teams from different parts of Ohio, including Steubenville. Woodland Hills can never claim that we aren't a worthy opponent.

Why couldn't Big Red create a classic weekend? We have great facilities and a wonderful reputation. Surely we could find a sponsor.
