I wonder what the screen names are of "The grass roots recruiter", "Weirton organizer" , "The Follansbee familiarizer", "The edison eagle", "Dam the creek", "Toronto taker" and the "Crusader creeper" Known collectively as "Keep the Red Rollin"? A few hints: R.B., R.C.

Its nice to see Shaq get a quite an offer sheet. Does anyone know if he has a highlight video out of his junior year?

If you think we recruit, then prove it or shut up.
...Sorry Fairwood but it is a well known fact that Reno flies in new players EVERY YEAR to play for Big Red and I have the evidence to prove he recruits right here!

He has offers from Michigan State,West Virginia , Syracuse, Toledo, and Akron so far. Heard there has been a bunch of schools that have came and talked to him. The person that told me forgot what schools they were but told me that one had Shaq pretty pumped up.

Busick is going to WVU and Macon will attend Toledo, so Shaq would already know someone on the team if he goes to either of those places.

My best guess is that he is waiting for an offer from OSU.

Archie Griffin's son got OSU's last offer, so that is a dead issue. Best of luck to Shaq in selecting a school. More importantly for now, let's focus on the season in front of us.

Are you sure about this? I thought Griffin's son was in the class of 2010 and Shaq is in the class of 2011. Surely Ohio State has some scholarships open for 2011.

Griffin's son was in the class of 2010 . Buckeye's should take around 23 in this class. Right now they have no LB that have verbaled. IT would be nice to see Shaq with an offer. I think once his junior year film circulates he is going to be getting alot more offers.

Correct, guys, my fault. I personally don't think Shaq is big enough to bet a sniff at a school the size of OSU. Maybe at DB, but not at linebacker.

I think both Shaq and Birden project well at top Div I schools at strong safety. They both have good size. good eyes and feet. great ball skills and tackle well. Speed for Birden can be worked on with a speed & stretching coach. Shaq's speed is not in question.

It's all about how much exposure you do for yourself. At big red, coach Sac will not allow big numbers. He subs early when the situation, not the score, permits itself.

If you look at the number of QTR's/MP (minutes played) logged by both Birden and Shaq. I think many people would be surprised at the quality of numbers they put on film.

I think Shaq has a REAL chance to make it on Saturday's and Sunday's at the SS position.

I think Shaq is big enough for an olb. OSU has a couple of offers out to lbs that are Shaqs size. He is 6-1 200+ last season. He could put 's on 5-10 pounds before next season and not be far off of being lb size. Brian Rolle is only around 5-11 220 after 3 years at OSU.

I agee that in the Big Red program you will never see someone with gaudy stats. Look at Collaros one the best qbs that I have ever seen and got few looks. I dont know if he camped all summer, but you have to if you want the big offers .
