We'll only move up to 6th? Even with the losses from the teams above us?

You will have to wait for the "guru" of play-off figuring to respond, and that would be riders1. I now annoint him with the moniker of PERK. He is the best "figure outer" of points that I personally know. The P stands for Pasteur, the E stands for Eitel, and the RK is "given". The PERK report. Do you accept, riders1? ;-)

Yes those 2 teams were ahead of Orrville going in. 6th is the spot for now. Those top 5 teams probably wont lose a game. Again the reason I think Orrville has to go 8-2 to get in and that wont get them a home game.

As long as we are in the top 8 I don't care what seed we are....You have to win 5 games to win the trophy.

AND, I gotta give RRN some "street cred" for "mixing it up" with the boys.

BRF,

What do you call a weekend where our Riders are the only ones that win?

Girard and LaBrae play each other so LaBrae most likely will be passed as they only have 4 wins from opponents if they lose to Girard.
Canton Central has only 6 wins from their 4 games left, so even winning won't necessarily keep them in the top 4.
Black River plays 6-0 Firelands so that is not a sure win for them.
Top 3 this week will be 1.Girard , Norwayne and LaBrae in a tight one for 2nd and 3rd.
4th Black River and 5th probably CCC with Orrville 6th with those 3 running very close also.
So each team will need help from the previous teams they have beaten, like this week all 3 of ours lost, if 2 of those had won we would be 4th.
Now we just wait for Eitel's rankings :D

IMO, we dont have to run the table to get in. Probably to get a home game, but we could still finish 6th through 8th at 7-3.

Let's not leave it up to chance though. Right now we control our own destiny for an OCC title and a home playoff game. Win out and both are yours.

Less than a half a point between 5th and 7th.

riders1,
when that divisor is not 100, divide 2nd level points by the divisor, then multiply by 10. Doesn't benefit a team points wise to have a team on their schedule that has an open date.

Great win friday against a better team than i thought . Terrible field , grass had to be 4 inches high. It would have been nice if the refs would have been a little kinder to us as well. Can't wait till we are healthy , not sure i would have played davis on that field . He could easily hurt himself alot worse slipping in mud. Get ready for air valentine.

Cannot really hurt it any more. Docs gave green light. It just gets out of wack every once in a while. I agree the mud did not help him but there was no risk of further injury..... At least to that knee. Tough kid for sure. To the uniformed fan I could see how it could have been viewed. Pass the word.

He's on the field. Not near 100% and still needs ACL surgery. He's doing this because he loves Orrville football....let's put away the should or shouldnt be out there talk and look at it for what it is...a kid who is working his tail off to be on the field with his teammates. Gets to walk the field on senior night and contribute in any way the coaches ask him
