You didn't think that the D's would lose the House, either.

That you guys are still celebrating that she isn't going to be Speaker anymore.

Well, for one, I'm not a politician. Two - I'm not republican. Three- your request to those republican politicians is a pretty reasonable one, and I don't see a problem with it.
Let's see how they do and then if they keep repeating the same asinine decisions that the democrats have made, then let's throw the bums out and try again with someone new.

Plain and simple.

I'm making a guarantee right now,and you all can put it in your sigs or make a thread or whatever. Here it is:

In 2012,President Obama will be re-elected,Democrats will gain 4-5 seats in the Senate, and the Democrats will regain the House

It's quite possible. Plus, you're way due to finally get one right...so the odds are in your favor.

Yes, wow. That a certifiably insane person isn't 2nd in line for the Presidency. Are the 89% of people that disapprove of her fools? Democrats should be up in arms that Heath Shuler (crap QB, nice guy) wasn't elected minority leader. We have to deal with this out of touch clown for another two years? In the last two years her leadership has led the U.S. into an economic ongoing concern. Thankfully we have our geographical advantage and military power to offset the reality that we are broke and the policies implemented in that term will dig us further in our hole.

I half expected her to break out with a "You need to vote for me as Minority Leader so you can find out what I'm going to do". I say great, let those clowns keep driving their party over the cliff.

How? The treasury is out of money....you can't buy anymore votes.

Put me down as one who is happy to see her keep being the face of the Democratic Party. After all, she was the face that most Republicans ran against a few weeks ago.

????

The election might have been two weeks, ago, but the DEMS just revoted Pelosi their House leader. This is ripe news, it happened today. So we're moving on from a non-existent event that happened two weeks ago.

In this particular case is there any doubt? Pelosi was clearly at the forefront of incredible House losses this election. The Dems enjoyed a huge advantage in the House and near-Super Majority status and blew it with Pelosi as House Speaker.

Pelosi, the gal who would bring civility back to the House, personified the precise reason why Dems were taken to the woodshed. Yet the surviving Dems saw fit to elect her as House Minority Leader?

Politically I'm all for it...I hope she keeps leading the lambs to slaughter. Strategically I honestly have to look at the Dems and think, "WTF are you thinking?"
