I guess the bus driver was in the worse shape, needing stitches and had a few broken ribs. The kids had small injuries like bruises and cuts. Apparently an SUV cut the bus off in a lane change and caused the bus to slam on its brakes and swerve. The cop that was escorting the buses home radioed ahead and the SUV was stopped.

It was a blessing that no one was seriously hurt or lost a life.

There's a reason why Ohio has signs posted throughout the state about giving large vehicles (trucks, buses, etc) more space before moving over in front of them. Just because you give 20 feet does not mean you're not cutting off a truck or bus.

Glad they had a police escort, otherwise the SUV driver could've gotten away with such a dangerous act.

Let this be a lesson, give buses and trucks more room when you come over in front of them. And don't pass them on the right if they're trying to extend the same courtesy to the vehicle they're passing.
