I normally root for the team with the better record to lose. Either that or a tie where the star players get banged up.

As for the game, Steelers win this. This Bengals team is a joke and the Steelers are not going to lose to a team they should beat easily especially after coming off a loss. The bandwagon/fair weather Bengals fans are starting to disappear too, so I am going to take a guess and say that they really won't have a true home field advantage.

Pretend you hate Bob. But you reaaaally hate Bill.

Bob and Bill get in a fight...would you be apathetic about that fight? No, you would want Bill to get his ass kicked.

You should care more about if Bill or Bob is going to kick your ass and not concern yourself with who wins the fight between them. Especially if you can't kick Jim's ass.

We beat bill's ass a year before that you fuckstick. And we beat Bob's ass about 4 weeks ago as well. I don't know who Jim is, so you lose.

You beat Bill's last year. Two weeks ago you returned to your normal position of being Bill's bitch. Bob? Who cares? Nobody really likes Bob, people Just pretend to like him.

Again, this week I would focus more on Jim because I saw him fight last Sunday at 4:00 and he is an ass kicker.

Typical Steelers fan.

Browns fans bring up the victory last year, and they say "oh that was last year"

But then they turn around and say "we've dominated you the last decade"

Bunch of hypocritical, AIDS infested vermin with no lives.

Facts are facts. Try to spin it any way you want but the numbers don't lie.

You're the one trying to spin it, homeboy. I said we beat the Steelers last year, you said "that was last year" That is the definition of spinning.

It wasn't spinning I was stating facts to advance the metaphor.

OSU hasn't lost to Michigan since 2004; they've lost 1 or 2 games in the regular season the last several years. The Steelers, though enjoying great success, have lost to Cleveland in the last 7 years and in the NFL it's "okay" if you lose a game you shouldn't (at least a lot more so than in college football).

The Browns can beat the Steelers, the Wolverines cannot beat the Buckeyes.
I guess the flip side is the Browns and Steelers play each other twice a season whereas OSU and Michigan only play each other once a year. The Browns went about 6 years without a win in the series until their 2nd meeting last year.....and that was with 2 cracks a year at the Steelers. Sure, Michigan hasn't beat OSU since, what, 2003? However, they haven't had two shots a year at OSU. So, I would say it's comparable considering the Steelers and Browns play each other twice as much. Furthermore, while the Browns do look improved and are playing teams closer....the end result has only been in their favor 2 out of 7 times this season and that's all current info. One win in the last 7 years didn't exorcise that Steelers demon and the Browns, while improved, aren't THAT good. Can the Browns beat the Steelers? Yes. Will they? I don't think so unless the Steelers are sitting players later this year.

I would say that it's reasonable that Browns fans should be about as optimistic in the rivalry as Michigan is in their series with OSU. Both are about as likely to win.

Also, your blanket statement about Steeler fans is silly. EVERY fan base has hypocritical, AIDS infested vermin with no lives and Cleveland's isn't any less guilty in that area.

I agree about OSU/Michigan and Pittsburgh/Cleveland....they are not comparable.

OSU and Michigan are rivals. Cleveland and Pittsburgh are not, but I do wish it would get back to what it once was.

As for the topic....I think Pittsburgh wins rather easily. 30-13.

Pittsburgh and Cleveland aren't rivals but Michigan and Ohio State are? Both "series" have been about the same in regards to how "competitive" they've been in the last several years (wins and losses). But regardless, BOTH are still rivalries.

I don't see the Browns winning that last game against the Steelers if the Steelers need it.

If the Steelers need it to reach the playoffs or advance their seeding they'll be too motivated. Browns may hang for awhile but they'll fade.

If the Steelers already have things locked up and they're resting players or they've already been eliminated from contention, the Browns may win.

I'm not trying to "brag" about the win last year. I realize the dominance the Steelers have over the Browns this decade. I was just responding to theringz's response that we haven't beaten the Steelers...which is false, because we did last year.

My statements about Steelers fans does not really pertain to Steelers fans..more just like 3 of them. So please do not take anything I say like that seriously.

That's cool. LOL. And I honestly didn't think you were bragging. Cleveland definitely has a recent win in the series. Facts are facts. We just disagree on the warranted optimism in this case and that's fine. Two different viewpoints and there's nothing wrong with that.

Cincy will give Pittswburgh all they ahve and probably play much better than they have. Every Pittsburgh TD will be by less than 1 inch of not being a TD.

Pittsburgh fell into not blitzing as much vs the Saints as they used an extra blocker and it cost us late. Have to pressure the QB...the game we lost...we have not pressured much.

Strangely, I feel this is a must win for both teams.

Prior to last years victory the Browns hadn't beaten the Steelers since 2003.
