Congratulations Campbell, a very nice win for the program and the community. Like I said in my latest post they are gonna have to play defense to have any shot and they responded by pitching a shutout. Its playoff time no matter how u have to get the job done you do it. Remember the guys across from you do not want to end their careers or seasons either. So you are not gonna see J'ales always run wild like he has in the past, and going forward it will only get tougher. Lester is gonna have to step up along with the rest of the skill positions and really make some plays to help the run game out. J'ales is no longer sneaking up on anyone. I am proud of this team they have showed perseverance all season. Great win on the road in a tough environment.

Manchester and Campbell had a common opponent in Girard which they both beat. Should be another close game with the Devils "D" winning another one.

i think we wanted to play manchester in this game...we have a common opponent and they dont play too tough a schedule. very young team...with some weaknesses. hopefully this game is at mollenkopf or fitch..thatll def help the devils...who i can feel are gaining confidence. big win tonight, congrats!

Congrats Campbell defense... The riders where stopped by the campbell defense. That team never gets shut out. And to do it at the right time. Bring them on. I'm sitting here watching the lakeview st clairsville game on Wtov ch9 and man i would not want to play them lakeview boys. That team is very very good all the way around. from top to bottom. But onto week 12. When was the last time we said that???? almost two decades fellas. Here we go campbell here we go... The Martins ferry fans and the stadium team all the way around class acts.
Heard the buses got a little lost... How the heck can they get lost? From what i heard people tried to tell them how to get there but they refused to listen.. Sorry for all you guys that had to deal with that ... but I'm sure it was all worth it anyways...

Congratulations Devils !!! This was Campbell Memorial's first playoff win since the 1990 season. Campbell's game plan was to stop the Martins Ferry running game and to force them to throw the ball more than they like. And that game plan worked to the letter. The defense came up huge. I must give credit to the Martins Ferry defense. They were small but quick. And they created some problems for Campbell's vaunted offense. Ja'les Hughes was able to get into the end zone from around 25 yards out which was the margin of victory. Hughes was held under his average by the quick and hard-nosed Ferry defense. Kudos to Martins Ferry on a fine season. For Campbell it's on to week 12 vs. unbeaten Akron Manchester.
