Dwight Howard and Blake Griffin together could be really scary.

Best C, and a top 5 PF. What a front-court. Then you have Gordon at the 2. Shit, I could run PG for that team and dish out 10 assists a game.

Plus, they will get a "decent" pick this year and be able to nab a better SF than Aminu/Gomes

The Clips always seem to have talent though, they just never do anything with it

Not sure if this has been posted or not....just rumors about D Howard

Howard has his eyes on Los Angeles and New York, sources close to him have insisted for months, and nothing short of championship basketball may be enough to compel him to re-sign with the Magic.

He said earlier this year that he would love to play with the Lakers.

Yeah. I could honestly see him with the Clippers as well

Yeah the Celtics get screwed by officiating allllllll the time....

Livingston gets called for a 3 shot foul on PP with 3.7 left(CHA up 5) when he clearly did not even come close to touching him. And then on the 3rd FT, PP fumbles the ball, steps across the foul line and picks the ball up. That is a violation.

True and not true. They have had good players...but they have not had a Blake Griffin OR an Eric Gordon in a looooooong time, let alone on the same team. Add the best center in the league, and I would put them in the top 4 in the West.

In other news...

White Chocolate is now a member of the Grizz. Good pickup, IMO, for the Grizz to back up Conley. Solid, veteran backup PG. Not expecting a lot from him, but I think he can help bring Mike along.

Yes they have, Elton Brand and Corey Maggette. I believe they even won a playoff series or two together.

Corey Maggette is not as good as Eric Gordon is. Blake Griffin THIS YEAR might be better than Brand was in his best year. He will definitely be better in the years to come. Brands best year was what 24/10. What is Blake this year? 23/13?

Maggette versus Gordon is not that close either. Gordons season this year is better than Maggettes best year, and like Blake, he is getting better each year still.

Yes, they did win a playoff series (with Cuttino Mobley as well lol) and then the Lakers choked away the lead in their series or it wouldve been LA-LA in round 2!

I will say that their 2 years, I think 04/05 and 05/06 were very good. But they arent as good as this combo.

Is it fair to mention Maggette(I know you didnt bring him up) in comparison to Blake/Gordon? Maggette was a bench player during those playoffs and only played in 32 regular season games that year.

Brand's best year he was amazing, almost an mvp-like season. Numbers aren't everything, Gordon is a volume scorer. It's a lot easier for him and Griffin to get numbers when they are playing from behind a lot in an uptempo offense.

You are talking more about potential, no doubt if they stay healthy they could be very good, but you never know what might happen. Brand would have been a perennial all star if he stayed healthy. Odom is probably the only other guy I can think of without looking at the rosters that they've had that had as much talent as the others discussed. They've had a lot of busts.

Maggette's best years were before his foot problems, which is why you can't assume anything with gordon/griffin. they both have injury history.

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for this Melo to the Knicks deal to happen. My favorite player to my favorite team...that would be pretty damn cool.
