Not gonna lie, before the season I was one of the ones who thought we had the talent to compete in the 8-10 seed range. But injuries absolutely ravaged the team, and took away the only chance we had to contend down low. I wasn't anticipated 5 D-leaguers getting action when I made my prediction.

I thought competing for a play-off spot was just out of range, but I did think they'd be better than this. No one has stepped up much (enough anyway) and of course injuries.

I dont think anybody was. Look at some of the guys that have been in the starting lineup this year

Gee (undrafted/D league)
Harris (undrafted)
Eyenga(D league)
Samuels(undrafted)
Andy, Mo, Boobie, AP have all missed significant time with injuries. These kids are playing hard, they just dont have the talent.

Hopefully they can ship out Jamison and Mo by the deadline for a young player or a pick.

This roster is going to look totally different at the this time next year.......assuming that there is a NBA season

And by that I mean, better than you expected, worse than you expected or pretty much right on par? Because I'll be honest, I'm as big of a LeBron fan as there is, I knew that he meant more to that teams winning percentage than most wanted to admit and they're STILL worse than I thought they would be. Granted, injuries have not helped their cause.

I am glad this is all happening to Dan Gilbert though, he's a child.

SMH at SQ returning with a heat avatar now. What a complete joke. Do us all a favor and stay away like you said you would.

I still think it was a mistake to fire Mike Brown. The guy won a lot of games and did a good job reining in Lebron's ginormous ego.

With that being said, if you are going to fire Mike Brown, you probably shouldn't hire a guy who just had a team quit on him a couple of months previously.

I did. This return could be temporary, not really sure. Basically, got sick and was bored as hell sitting around home all day and I came across the OC on accident. Added a little excitement to my otherwise very dull day.

I rarely ever post on here anymore. The OC has taken a dive. I actually blame a lot of it on LBJ and the Cavs being shit again.

Melo for Bynum.

Eh, I think almost a lateral move. They don't really get any worse but they eliminate some match up problems that they present because of their size. Upside is Melo takes over as your guy as Kobe is on his way out. Good idea to try to get that guy right now before he gets locked up out east considering most of the big name young guys are comfy right now. Bynum won't be that kind of player, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to get rid of him. I'd probably do it.

Melo/Nene for Bynum/Ebanks

Lakers would be stupid not to do it. Nene allows them to present much of the same match up issues to other teams from a size perspective. Toughens them up defensively too. And Melo is obviously a huge upgrade. Only thing that would hold me back from saying that is the best team in the NBA is the same thing that held a lot of people back from saying that about the Heat. Will there be enough balls for everyone? Melo and Kobe are both more selfish players than LeBron and Wade--not because I'm bias, you can just see it in their stats and it's nothing new. You could have said the same thing 4 years ago. They're both just more score first than LeBron and Wade. I think they're certainly talented enough as players to make it work. They'd be incredible and if it worked out, better than the Heat until Kobe starts really slowing down--mainly because I'd take Gasol over Bosh all damn day and Kobe/Melo can play well enough with LeBron/DWade.

I'll answer for him... just talk. IF that shit goes down I have a theory that the FO in LA has photos of every FO guy in the league with underage girls, a bong, and a small cock.

Welp, the Lakers FINALLY played up to their potential against the one of the League's best. Win on the road in Bean Town 92-86.

When he came off the bench and hit his first shot, I knew it was over.

3rd straight year the Lakers have won in their trip to Bean Town.

And of course it's been 2 years since they beat them in LA.

Regular season. They won game 6 and 7 in LA which obviously is when it counts.

Billups with 18 points at the 10 min mark of the 2nd quarter...seems like he has spurts like this every once in a while.

He probably wont finish the game with more then 27 points though
