The only problem with that is we aren't talking about European futbol, we are talking about a real sport. :p

For the first few years (likely up to even 10 years) probably. But, as time goes on, they will make more money via ads, promotions, revenue, etc they would be able to get promoted and stay there. Im not sure how a draft would work, but maybe if you are relegated, you still get the pick? Maybe not the #1, but still get to draft a very good player.

David Stern gets to name the replacement for Yao....I believe

My guess....

Move Dirk or Timmy to the starting lineup. And add Kevin Love to the reserves

And the excuse of "he plays on a bad team" is the biggest crock of shit I have ever heard.

BTW, a really good game between the Spurs and Lakers right now. Tied at 42 at half.

Timmy has NO business on the roster either. Id even take Aldredge over him. Its an All Star game, a 4 or a 5 doesnt matter. They dont play defense anyways.

I agree.

But they rewarded the Spurs with 2 players for having a great first "half". Just like rewarding the C's with 4(a complete fucking joke) in the East.

15 of 30 teams represented in the All-Star. I expect Love to be named as Yao's replacement and any other replacement will come from a team not already represented(maybe Rockets w/K.Martin). This year still has to be the lowest in quite some time. Here are the number of teams represented the past 5 years.

'10-20 teams represented by 28 players
'09-18 teams represented by 26 players
'08-18 teams represented by 27 players
'07-19 teams represented by 29 players
'06-19 teams represented by 25 players

13 of the 15 teams represented so far have a winning record. Taking out Yao and putting in Love makes it 14/17. Of the snubs, I am not sure who from a winning record I would add other than Aldridge or Noah/Boozer.

I'm sorry but there are players having a better year than Ray Allen. This is NOT a team award(well it shouldn't be at least); All Star means one of the best in the League for that year. Stephen Jackson is averaging more points, more rebounds, more assists than Ray is. I don't care that the Bobcats suck, he is having a better year than Ray is.

Can't argue with that at all.

What about Zach Randolph over Gasol?

Z-bo-20.0PPG, 13.2 Boards, 48.6 FG%
Gasol-18.4PPG, 10.6 Boards, 51.5FG%

Hell of a tip from Antonio McNugget to get the win for the Spurs.

Lakers refused to box anyone out that last possession.
