Well at least the players will have the option to wear them and won't be forced to do so.

Right.
But I would be willing to bet that within 5 years, that will be the every game jersey in the league.

Also good that Shaq isn't an All Star. That wouldn't be pretty.
Could you imagine a guy like Oliver Miller from back in the day wearing that crap??

Uuuuggggghhhh lol
And like the article says, the only players that will probably wear these are the adidas guys.
Which thus far is only Rose and Howard.

Yeah they look like shit right now. This 3rd quarter has been terrible.
Kevin Martin is pretty much dominating. Martin is 10/11 FT and the Rockets are 10/11 FT total.

I heard that stat about how he never has 2 bad games in a row. Martin/Lowry/Brooks has got to be one of the most underrated backcourts in the league.

Lakers get a little bit of space and go up 7 after a Shannon Brown acrobatic lay up and a LO coast to coast lay in.

I'm actually looking forward to this game. I'll prolly be disappointed bc All Star games are worthless and a sham, but this has my interest. Also lol at Neal being on the team.

Depending on whether Wall shows up, the rookies should own that game.
Griffin + Cousins won't be handled by anyone on the Sophomore squad.
The backcourt of the Sophomores is pretty unstoppable though.

5th in scoring by rookies at 8.5. Not saying much at all though.

Remember when people said that the Miami Heat post-Decision would be bad for the NBA?
-NBA games on ESPN and TNT are up more than 30 percent this year compared with last year.
- The Heat-Celtics season opener was the most-watched NBA regular-season game in cable television history at 7.35 million viewers.
- LeBron's return to Cleveland garnered 7.1 million viewers.
That's just a small sampling from the article...

Artest wants out of LA?

I've nonetheless been assured this week that Artest -- though he hasn't outright demanded a trade and is likely to publicly deny it -- is serious about wanting to be dealt somewhere "he can have fun again" less than a year removed from the pivotal role he played in that ring-clinching Game 7 with Boston that the Lakers so nearly squandered.

Interesting news regarding Artest. I doubt there is much a market for him, but they could really trade for anyone and it would a solid move.
And those who said that the Big 3 going to Miami would be bad for the NBA, just don't understand how the NBA makes it's money. It's absolutely great for the NBA. And wait until next year when Melo joins the Knicks. You have a high interest in Miami, LA (probably even both LA teams), NY, Boston and Dallas. Talk about hitting the major media markets on each side of the US.

Apparently they have been ignoring the past 20-30 years of NBA history. The NBA thrives on this sort of thing. People love watching good basketball teams that are loaded with stars and everybody loves a villain. With a villain, fans can either choose to love or hate the villain and become interested on the said teams pursuit of a championship.

Doesn't good for NBA financially mean that it is good for the NBA, period? This means that there is more interest in the game, more fans are watching the games, more fans are discussing the games, and last I heard there was a bump in league-wide attendance. All these things are good.

Only 3-5 teams with a legit chance to win a title every 10 yrs isn't good for the NBA or the avg NBA fan. Its boring. Stop being a dynasty jr. where everything has to spelled out to you like you're a child. Grow a fucking brain and use it.

The current number of teams who "can" win in the NBA has been roughly the same for a number of years. Fans interestingly never have a problem with this small number when they are apart of the small contingency. And frankly casual fans could care less about how many games the Milwaukee Bucks win. Casual fans want intriguing storylines along with superteams made up of superstars. The playoffs become infinitely more entertaining when you can watch good teams duking it out. Bucks vs. Raptors doesn't move the needle at all.
