Cool. Hope he takes it and runs with it. I think he can be effective although he may be a bit rusty.

I called that Troy Smith would be starting, I never said how....Considering that the ONLY reason Troy lost his starting gig in Baltimore was because of illness, I'd say it's fitting karma.Rotinaj;534685 wrote:You called that Alex Smith would get injured? I can't say I'm mad he lost the starting gig in Baltimore but I did like having him as a back up.

Ted Ginn being out there won't hurt him either. Although Teddy has been somewhat of a dissapointment thus far in the league.

Many Ravens players felt Troy Smith should have been the starter for the Ravens over Flacco so it will be fun to see what he can do.

I don't think he should have been the starter but I did like him being there. He came in a few times and had a couple rushing TD's.

I'm not sure what whatever that is you wrote is. But anyone who knows anything about football knows that Gino Toretta is the worst Heisman winner of all time (with Jason White a close second). It's so true that I think it was a question on Jeopardy once.

He was the starter till he had that freak illness. I don't think any players felt that way now though.
