Look, I'm done with this, you guys can have your man crush on Troy Smith all you want, I don't care. My point remains that he's not NFL caliber.......good day!

NFL caliber to me is PLAYING IN THE NFL. He is doing that. Get a clue.

as much as i hate scUM, i'll admit they've produced arguably the best QB ever. if troy smith had 2 Super Bowls and 1 MVP at this point in his career, i still think you'd be hating on him. thats just my opinion though.

and I don't deny that he's a bottom tier QB in the NFL, but for the team he's on you have to admit he's probably the best option for them to win. which is why the decision to bench him is mind boggling.
I agree...... go to any 49ers forum and you can see that they want Troy to start. Singletary and Alex are both out at the end of the season so they might as well go down in a ball of flames together. I mean, Alex started the season off at 1-5 and Troy came in and went 3-2 losing to both Green Bay and Tampa Bay without Gore. If anybody thinks A. Smith could of done better they need to be drug tested immediately.

Troy is starting again this week. First place in the division could be on the line between the 5-9 49ers and the 6-8 Rams, as sad as that is.

Man what kind of crazy do you have to be to get in singletarys face like T did? Both guys sealed their fates yesterday.

Well Singletary's gone and Troy's still there and Troy's got the team on his side (unless he lost them yesterday)....

Just sayin

I like Troy. I just never like seeing a player get in his coaches face like he did yesterday. It was a 2 point game when that blowup happened.

So a coach never does anything worth getting in his face for?

I got into my baseball coaches face in high school because he was a dumbass the whole year but he made a crucial coaching mistake at third base that cost us the conference championship, and this was coming off previous seasons of 4, 6, and 3 wins and my senior class carried the team the whole year despite my coach's idiocy.

I generally agree with you, but it appeared Singletary lost control of the team and Troy said something about it.

LMAO, it's OK to get in coach's face as long as it's Troy Smith. He does that garbage anyplace other than San Fran, where it was well known that Singletary was gone, he'd either be benched or cut the next day.

No, not during a game. It's okay to question a decision, but to act the way Smith did is inexcusable. Especially for a guy who hasn't done shit in the NFL. If say Phillip Rivers did that to Turner, that's one thing, but for Smith to do that is laughable.

This. Ginn was trying to stop his ex-teammate.

I'm just saying Singletary is a delusional idiot, something he's backed up when he opens his mouth. Just saying.

Believe me, no one thinks Singletary is more incompetent than I. But still, you wait until after the game or talk to him respectfully. I mean they were in a 2 point game, fighting for the playoffs and you just threw a Int. At that point you decide it's a good time to throw a tantrum?
