And yeah the MAC comment was a joke obviously. Just saying on the big stage they haven't really performed well.
Like I just said...I don't care if ND loses...its not surprising. They are irrelevant on the big sceme of things, OSU is not...that is the bottom line. They giggle because they can't get enjoyment out of supporting ND because its let down after let down....so why not just be on Team Anti-OSU.

I think it is clear as to karen was aiming at. Seems like the majority of Buckeye fans here are pretty level headed. However there are a few who are not, and as a consequence they sometimes say foolish things that invite some good natured tweaking. I mean I can admit I generally laugh about was devil has to say for the most part, so I can understand another fanbase taking him to task.

Now that Ohio State's most recent game is a win, and the OP's most recent game is a loss, it is open season again. I understand the comebacks "Navy just beat your team!" but at the same time you won't hear me bragging about our win today. We should have played like this last week when we were number 1, but unfortunately for us, it usually takes a loss for us to play like we want to be there. Today's win has done nothing to take away the sting of last week. In fact it makes it worse. This Buckeye team was capable of great things but they fell asleep at the wheel.

Pretty amazing, isn't it? Where I came from, and how I grew up...when my team sucks, and the other is pretty darn good...I keep my mouth shut, completely! Why on earth would someone continue to spout off when their team is worthless, and the other is, and HAS been pretty darn good!? Pretty ignorant IMO.

You must be pretty clueless. There are plenty of OSU and Pittsburgh fans. Do you need me to post a map of Ohio so you can understand the geography of where I grew up? But thats getting off topic.

Its easier to just brush aside your own teams misfortunes and focus on a more successful ones because its a bigger deal to the opposing fanbase. Its not a theory at all, just an observation.

I'm with you CBF. That would be like me jumping all over Florida's shit for their current situation. I'd never do it. They pounded us and won another title to boot.....I have no room to talk.

i remember that the Naval Academy was a pretty stout program , but that was when they were on OSU's schedule

Was in Rome with Websurfinbird, all happy full of good pasta and wine, and got this text from my boy: "OSU getting manhandled 21-3 at the half." Well aren't we all LA - TEE - DAH on our honeymoon in Rome? Real Buckeye fans don't get married "in-season". Whatever minimal posting credibility you had is now gone forever.

For the record, I feel responsible for the loss. My past two vacations have inspired Buckeye losses (I was in Amsterdam last year when USC beat us).
