Nike wanted Penn State to do Pro Combat uniforms. They declined.

I'm glad they did. Penn State has my favorite uniforms in college football.

Those uniforms dont even look half as crazy as most of the Pro Combats, nothing wrong with them IMO

I think they are cool uniforms, just not for Penn St.

Yup good to hear that Penn State said no. Stupid to diminish the brand with a crazy uniform that Nike hatched to increase jersey sales. Penn State is synonymous with the white helmets, blue face mask, + plain unis. Marketing 101 here.

However, this makes you wonder about the smoke Ohio State blows whenever they where one of the atrocious uniforms. "Nike made us do it, we had no choice, it's a one game thing." Please.

(also I'm not sure if those are the real unis they were supposed to where, but the jersey looks similar to the design of the Oregon State sports bra unis that were panned a few years ago)

I know for a fact Tressel hates the procombats, said it in class.

Kudos to Penn State though! Taking tradition seriously.

im gonna have to say that Penn St. has some of the worst uniforms ever. anything would be a step up, they should of gone for it.

What class? I would imagine it is pretty difficult to get into any class he teaches, nice work on that.
