If the blitz doesn't get there, it's nearly impossible to cover receivers one on one for that amount of time. I've never seen a team blitz so much, and be so bad at it.
My problem is that he looks to be out of position most of the time....it is like his head isn't in the game.

Both punters were excellent today. Cleveland's may have saved them even more points by putting Pittsburgh in tough field position several times.

Typical classless post from AM.
Come on, one was a good tackle, the other was a cheap shot that should have been a penalty (with the new defenseless WR rules) and probably will still be a fine.

The first one may have been cheap. Hell, I think TJ Ward's hit on Shipley last week was cheap. It happens.

see I dont think it was cheap. I just think it shouldve been flagged. The inconsistency on that shit is maddening.

Nice win.
I didn't think the Steelers were in much trouble even at 7-3 but the bad field position kept the game close for awhile.

I understand the run the rock and kill the clock.......but they do it with everyone knowing and less than 2 possession leads...yes, it works often but it didn't last game..
To me it keeps the other team in the game a little too much.
But as always...I'll take the win

I think the Steelers pounded the run game a lot more today than they will the rest of the season.
You saw when they wanted to open it up how quickly they got some big plays.

I saw them take 2 1/2 qtrs of having the ball to score 7 points and then went 90 yard on 2 straight plays to set up 7 more.....after that they just about scored at will.

Agreed. It's was more annoying that they weren't flagged, not the hits themselves. I don't think he did it intentionally either time.

Just got done reading the in game thread. Thanks for all the insight, Art Modell.
Can't believe there wasn't more discussion on the Steelers 2nd TD. When the whole offensive line moved before the ball was snapped and no flag. That was 3rd and goal at the 9, and would have moved it back to the 14. Not that this cost us the game, but officiating in this game was a joke. Ran it back 3 times on the DVR and couldn't believe no official saw this or the announcers made no mention of it.

I think more of us were disgusted with Eric Wrights attempt at a tackle.

You mean the same officiating that allowed Joe Thomas to hold and put a stranglehold on Harrison all day. I guess its a good thing or there would've been more Clowns talking to theirselves on the sideline. LOL.bucks36;523445 wrote:Just got done reading the in game thread. Exactly. Definitely movement, but EWright was a more interesting topic of discussion.

Plus after that it became apparent we could win at any moment by getting the ball to Watson. We werent really concerned with giving up the points.

Just finished reading the game thread. The Browns really need some offensive weapons, losing Cribbs certainly didnt help. I dont think the defense played that bad of a game. They were put in some pretty tough spots (dropped punt and int)
I thought Colt played a solid game. I didnt see the final numbers but he had to be close to 300 yards of total offense with a 65% completion percentage........I'll take that, especially for the kids first NFL start. Its one one game but I was pretty impressed
Ben Watson was the best player on the field
