I dont really think Harrison did anything dirty. Both plays were part of a play and not a cheap shot (maybe the second one was a bit late). But they were both penalties and need to be called. Thats the issue here.

The first one was not a penalty. I could see the second one being a penalty. But I don't think either of them were hits where he was trying to hurt people or cheap shots.

First one was a clear helmet to helmet hit though. Not in the sense where both players lowered heads either. Cribbs was upright and Harrison came straight and hit him in the helmet with his before any other contact. That is helmet to helmet.

The first hit he was off his feet prior to contact not sure if that is a factor for the no call or not.

On that 1st play the Cribbs is taking on Woodley and Harrison is blocked in view partially by a Browns lineman and as he goes directly to where he believes Cribbs is heading he throws his body and hits helmet to helmet. I don't think a defensive player can play it any differently. Harrison didn't KNOW it was going to be helmet on helmet and was clearly shaken by by Cribbs' injury.....he didn't give a crap about knocking the begeezus out of the receiver on the play from hell.

One more thing on the Harrison 2nd shot....if the NFL fines him and the referees in charge of that particular call didn't call a penalty....they should be fined a little as well.

That is a slippery slope fining officials for missing calls made in the heat of the moment.

BTW a same helmet to helmet hit happened (The momass hit) in the Eagles game and it was called. Regardless of cheap, dirty, no one can pass it up, it should have been called.

If Cleveland goes 3 and out will their punter hit a 90 yarder to pin Pittsburgh on the 1?

The Browns would trade you WR's.

there are times you cannot avoid helmet to helmet

I would only call it if thrusted into with helmet or just flat out purposely helmet to helmet

No cause Adams will not down the ball. It will roll out at the 6 lol. What the hell was he doing on that play?

Seeing as the season is already a lost cause, I would be fine with letting McCoy keep playing just to see what we have with him and see if he is a viable NFL QB or not.

He hasn't been spectacular, but at least up to this point he has played far better than I expected in his first start on the road at Pittsburgh.

yeah....Browns receivers suck to

But everyone throws Pittsburgh up as a top 4 team.....they have some deficiencies as well.

This game just has moments of being bought off.

I am not impressed with Pittsburgh's defensive game plan thus far.
