Big battle in Camp Randal with a 7:00 kickoff on ESPN

Ohio State won last year, 31-13 but 21 of the points came on two interception returns and punt return for touchdowns. Terrelle Pryor was 5-of-13 for 87 yards, a touchdown and in interception.

Every time the Buckeyes play in Camp Randall Stadium they struggle. Wisconsin is solid but on paper the Buckeyes are simply better. But that doesn't matter. Wisky will be pumped. If Tressel Ball goes into effect this will be a nail biter. If Tress turns Pryor loose and Pryor is in the groove, the Bucks should win by 10 or more.

I like the way the Buckeyes have given different offensive looks the past couple of weeks, and this will give Wisky a lot to chew on. OSU seems to struggle at Camp Randall, and it being a night game will only add to the raucous atmosphere. However, the Buckeyes seem focused and on a mission, and TP should be at 100%.....OSU 31 Wisconsin 17

Unless the weather is bad...I have NO reason to believe Tressel will play conservative. I don'[t see the Wisky offense doing much against the OSU defense. OSU should stuff the run and force Wisky to throw. Something they are not comfortable doing.
27-13 OSU.

This will be the first real test of Pryor as a QB this year. Wisconsin will stuff Herron and Saine cold. They won't combine for more than 50 yards. Pryor is hurt, so his running threat is diminished. Pryor will have to throw 30-35 times and do it well for Ohio State to win. We will see if he can do it.

Always one of my favorite games to watch when Ohio State travels to Wisconsin.

Ohio State has to get the running game going early or they are going to be in big trouble.

I highly doubt that he's hurt, but as we saw yesterday, he can throw 30-35 times and win....regardless, Wisky has to prepare for both scenarios--what a nightmare!!! :D

also, don't forget that TP was at the controls of the Buckeyes' final drive in '08, AT Camp Randall, punctuated by him scoring the winning TD-- he won't be intimidated playing there.

This game and the Iowa game worry me for a few reasons.
1. OSU has only been on the road once this year. When they were, they played like crap. I'm not sure how the team will hold up to the noise and the pressure of being number 1, on the road, at night, in front of one of the loudest places in the Big Ten. OSU also has a spotty record in Madison.
2. The Oline is a big problem. If OSU gets in a dog fight and needs to chew up clock, I'm not sure the Oline can be tough enough to maintain a long, grind out drive. Boom has had he moments, but the line is awful. I have a feeling that the Wisconsin Dline will own most of the game, turning OSU into a 1 dimensional team.
3. OSU defense. The front 7 is great. But, can they stop some of the best RBs in the country the whole game? Also, will Wisconsin exploit the OSU secondary, which has been hit and miss?

All of that leads me to think this is a tight, mid range scoring game. I can see a repeat of 2008, where it will take a last minute drive by OSU to win.

I wouldn't say OSU is exactly 'spotty' at Camp Randall. They've lost 10 times in 37 games there. That's a pretty good percentage of wins.

They are 1-1 in the last 2 trips there at night.
08 win and 03 loss.
Plus, Wisconsin's record against Tressel is close to .500 I believe, 4-3. (Didn't play in 2005-2006).

OSU will shut the Wisconsin run game down and Tolzien loves to throw to OSU defenders. OSU's front 7 is too talented and strong, they rarely let guys run on them. I am not afraid of Tolzien and the Badger passing game either.

I don't see the passing game slowing down for OSU, teams have to double Posey which is letting Sanz slip free and find the holes. Pryor WILL run if needed but I think the Bucks will have success on the ground.

Indiana lit UM up for 480 yards passing, UM is no juggernaut defense but OSU will be fine in the passing D assured.

Camping at Randal especially at night has always been an adventure, not as worried as I normally am heading there though.

The one thing I am worried about in the OSU secondary is the middle of the field. In most of the games this year, the opponents TE has been wide open in the middle. I can easily see Wisconsin throwing to the TE either in the middle or to a RB in the middle for modest gains.

And Kendricks, 'Consin's TE is not bad, averaging 15 yards a play and has 3 TDs this year.

I thought the Buck defense was mediocre for our standards....until this week. Indiana has a great offense and the first string totally shut them down.

The season comes down to this game and the Iowa game. Let's be honest about it....so far the Bucks have had a cake walk schedule. (Illinois in hind site was our most impressive win...Illini outgained the Nitany Lions by almost 250 yards) That's about to end.

The Badgers are obviosly going to try and establish the run but I wouldnt be surprised to see Tolzien test the Buckeye secondary early. I think they are going to have to loosen up the defense to stand a chance, there arent many teams that have had success rolling up their sleeves and running right at the Buckeyes defense. Camp Randall is tough as hell but the Bucks are the better team

Wisky is overmatched; Buckeyes aren't intimidated by Camp Randall after '08. That said, it will be a slugfest, and turnovers or a big special teams play could hurt OSU:
