Anyone watching this ending? USC scores to take the lead, 35-34. Stanford driving right down the field .... .08 seconds to go...on USC 10yd line.

Stanford for the win! 37-35! Guess "all that talent" some thought USC had isn't coming through. ;) Two weeks in a row USC loses on final seconds!

Harbaugh is doing a great job at Stanford. Luck might be best QB in country. Nice game ending drive with about 1 min to go.

Anyone else notice the clock snafu that helped Stanford out tremendously?

Kiffin will be out of there in 3 years...

What happened to that stable of RB's USC had and all those recruits? I looked at the stats for the game and there was nothing resembling a running game.

Oh well.

Once USC fires Kiffin and is no longer on probation they will build it back up.

Helped stanford out? Huh? It almost gave USC a last ditch return chance. The clock stopped early for no reason at all, stanford was prepared to call the time out at 4... but it stopped at 7 after only taking off 1 second for a play.

The clock snafu was weird, but it wasn't in Stanford's favor.

Which one? When the clock didn't run on the play where Luck centered the ball? Stanford had a timeout left, it didn't help them tremendously.

Could be when USC was driving for the go ahead touchdown and they reviewed the spot on Bradford's run to the 3 yard line. When they came back they didn't start the clock, and USC scored on the next play, so it saved Stanford a good 20-30 seconds.

I don't remember seeing the clock not moving. Was it possible USC took a timeout so the booth had more time to look at it before calling for the official review of the spot?

The original spot gave them a first down, so I don't know why USC would want them to look at it and take it away.

This. CBF wasn't paying attention.

I double checked the ESPN play by play for the 4th quarter before I posted. Neither team called a time out after this play. The refs never started the clock and it was a bad snafu. With that said, Kiffin deserves part of the blame here for not alerting the officials.

A team with a good sense of time management would have allowed a full 25 seconds to run before snapping the ball. The reason was 2fold...

1. USC had plenty of time to run 4 plays...even after running the clock down to 45 seconds.

2. Giving Luck a minute plus was asking or a loss...given the nature of the game.
