Sonny I have been wondering!!! I say nothing because I do not want to jinx us.

Fellas, we do need to pack this stadium. The turnouts have been decent this year for the most part. But we are not yet where we once were. We need about a thousand more per game to average what we "Averaged" in the regular season. The post season........good luck in trying to beat what we accomplish there. If you do not know what I mean...watch the Mooney game from 86'....wait for the camera to pan the crowd.....and the only word out of your mouth will be WOW when you see the 6,000 plus wearing red and black waiving the towels.

I will also call us out for something else. Are we at a Library convention or something at these games. I mean we are a joke when it comes to cheering. Me included. Fourth and four...our defense looking to make a stop and you could hear a pin drop on our side. No lie. All the guys around me agree. There needs to be more yelling, more cheering, more people showing support for the kids on the field. This game is HUGE against a former foe who we need no introduction to let me tell you. It's time fellas. It's time to make a statement right now on TV in front of this Valley that we can and will take you down. Not next week.....Not next year....RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!

by the way campbell moved up to no. 4 in the region...picked up a ton of secondary points. with a win this week we will be in great position, considering the top teams still have competitive games left and some even against eachother.

All we have to do is win this week and things will fall into place. We have to take care of our own business before worrying about which teams are ahead of us and which are behind us. If we beat Girard, we're in great shape.

I was over there on jj and not a single person there thinks we have a chance with the superior girard team. well like i preach we didn't get to be 6-1 by stinking up the field. THE EJECTION WAS NEVER CALLED INTO THE STATE BY THE OFFICIAL!!! girard got the official on the phone saturday and went over the ruling and convinced the old poor ref he made the wrong call...and the ref agreed that it was the wrong call and never turned in the ejection. this is why icbm was claiming on a SATURDAY that the kid will play. The state has no idea of the ejection. clever girard clever. it wouldnt be as clever if it wasnt printed in the VINDICATOR!!! so girard and cochran are trying a sly move, putting it out there that everything is cleared up and the kids gonna play hoping no one from campbell will say anything. or the comment that was made from cochran..."campbell people are too stupid to double check this with the state." nice girard real nice. well guys heres a dose of reality for you. if its not turned into the state the referee faces severe punishment and will not be allowed to work any games the rest of the regular season and will get last dibs on playoff crews. girard will have to forfeit the game against campbell if smith plays...and if inproprieties are discovered with tampering with the ref not to call the ejection in they may have to forfeit the niles game also. so please go back and tell honest icbm that girards plan is revealed and tell cochran we arent that stupid. im sure the ejection will be called in first thing tomorrow morning...id hate for the first person to call in the ejection to ohsaa be the superintendent of campbell city schools. thank you and goodnight...what else would expect from girard. i knew something was fishy when the ruling was made on a saturday at 5. who was in the office on a weekend to make a ruling on the appeal? lol dont be so gullible guys...the state should be making a ruling soon.

You do not have to come out and call the kid a punk in any means he is only a kid. IMO i would not want anyone throwing any excuses why they won or lost. Skevo hurts campbell him being out and wish he was able to play that has to be dis hearting to a young man as a senior watching his brothers on the team play and him having to sit out. So much hostility going on about this game and yes Girard is known for their sneaky ways as mostly everyone from the area should know. I cannot wait to watch this game at 10 when i get home. If anyone can post updates throughout the game it will be greatly appreciated.

Ohio, let me explain something. My real name is not Dr. Phil or Montell Williams. I actually work with kids from all over the valley and love every minute of it. Great kids from all over. Young...teenagers...even some college athletes. Boys, girls, whatever. Been doing it now for 8 years. Very rarely I cross paths with kids who are 7 or 8 years old and really have a hard time behaving themselves. I get that. A quick sit down and an understanding of what you expect from them and off you go. Little kids are hilarious, curious and amazing to watch grow up. Have one of my own.

He's a little nut already and he is not even ten months yet. Saying all that let me say this now. With different kids and different genders/ ages you have to watch how you handle them when discipline comes into play. I am a strong advocate of that. Let me tell you now what else i am a strong advocate of. Telling 17 year old boys exactly what they are acting like when they do stupid things that cost their team or themselves when at that age...THEY KNOW BETTER. So excuse me if i am not looking out for his inner child. Oh dear. I hope I haven't scarred him for life. Give me a break. Soup I'm on it bro. I am all for this cause they are so confident and they are saying Campbell is good but not good enough to win with Girard. they are mistaken us for last years team. There is this thing they keep talking about the 86 or 87 game I'm not sure i follow. Something happen and i was young and don't remember that game. The 1987 Campbell/ Girard football game is one of the most disgusting events I have ever attended. I was a senior and that was one of the ugliest scenes I have ever witnessed in High School football. Unfortunately we all acted like "PUNKS" that night after one of the worst displays of refereeing I have ever seen in my life. First down and 55 yards to go. That is all I am going to say. Ironically the QB for Girard is now their head coach. The girard staff, players and fans on that night showed some of the worst displays of sportsmanship in the world. I regret giving in and retaliating like an idiot. Bad night. Rather forget it.

Pride, I thought it was 1st and 60. Anyway, letsgodevils- gotta crank that volume on the triple h entrance music come friday night brother. This game definitely has a feel from the 80's thats for sure. Time to shine Devils, this is what you worked so hard for, go out there and "smack em".

If girard needs to use what happened 23 years ago, then I believe that coach cochran has some serious doubts about his teams chances of winning. The game and everything at stake is more than enough.
