Last year, Pryor struggled at times against good defenses as well. This year, Pryor is leaps and bounds from where he was last year. He has control of the offense, is able to read defenses and spreads the ball all over the field. He still has his moments on a couple passes a game. But overall, his improvement is very impressive IMO. He will never have the rushing numbers that Robinson has had...thats not the OSU system. But last week, Pryor had 100yds rushing and Tressel said he called on 2 rushing calls for Pryor to run. That tells you what he would be capable of doing if he has been in a RichRod system. When their careers are over...Robinson will have many more rushing yards and Pryor will have many more passing yards IMO. Its just the difference in the systems. Currently, there is no question that Pryor is a much more polished QB. But he has a year on Robinson as well.
I agree that the rushing numbers are obviously gonna be in DR's favor because of the system and the amount of carries that DR gets in the Rich Rod offense. But the passing, honestly this year i see DR equaling that of TP's sohompre year or coming very very close to doing so.
Next year though DRs jr year compared to TP this year I think the total yards will be close to even but TP will have a significant advantage in the passing yards, OSU seems to be trusting TP to drop back and pas thsi year and hes not disappointing
