A certain team in the valley, went to take a knee and threw a TD pass. I have lost all respect for this team.

What team was that ?
was it salem cause when i left it was like 40 seconds left and i know they scored on us again?

It wasn't Salem. Salem scored on a pick 6 interception in the final minute. I believe it was a future Salem opponent though...

Yeah, Salem had the INT return, and it was on the 15 yard line and wide open. It was either fall over or score, definitely wasn't anything fishy about it.

Which future opponent did do this, though?

If its was against MARTINS FERRY then I love it because for as long as I can remember they have always run up the score in any given chance.

That play is illegal. When you are taking a knee, the referee tells the defense to back off so as for no one to get hurt. The defense is in effect...defenseless against a play such as this. The refs should have blown the play dead and thrown a flag.

EL was trying to take a knee but MF was jumping people over the top in an attempt to hit the QB. They got what they deserved. EL was trying to run out the clock but MF wouldn't let it end so the Potter ended it for them. I didn't see the MF coach crying about so I guess he was OK with it.

If they weren't in a blatantly obvious formation that showed a knee was coming, then this wouldn't apply.

The game officials should tell the defense not to do anything that they will regret.

The play is not blown dead in the case where the ref does not tell the defense that they're taking a knee and the play would continue as normal until someone is down

On 1st down EL downed the ball w/knee, with 1:25 left on the clock, clock ran to 1:15. A flag was thrown b/c a MF defender crushed a EL player, but it was waved off. Instead of starting the clock after it, they added :04sec taking it back to 1:19 and didn't restart it. EL kneed the ball on 2nd down and the clock was stopped at 1:15 w/Ferry timeout. so that means ferry can get the ball back w/ about 40 ticks left on the clock if we take the knee again, with the score 20-17... We were content with that, but The refs failure to restart the clock and Ferry calling a timeout left Coach Asher No choice but, to call that play to ice the game

Maybe you should get ALL the facts instead of spreading hearsay around... You will lose respect for a lot of teams doing this.

If thats the case then they have the right to ice the game . I have seen some crazy finishes in HS football . You must try and get a first down to ice it . No problem besides Martins Ferry has a reputation for running up the score on teams . I have no sorry feelings for them .
