You are correct. Fact is, we couldn't go away from it. Several of our prime receivers were injured for this game and if you were there you would have seen how poor the passing game was. Second line receiver caught a good pass and run but could not hold the ball; he had it stripped. QB threw one pass directly at a defensive man that went for a touchdown.
Several runs broke out for sure scores but got run down from behind. When you become one dimentional, you will not win many games playing good teams.
Massillon played a great game: quick and intense.
Reno emphasized two things for this week: protect the ball and play physical. We played physical, but with six fumbles, we obviously did not protect the ball.
That's it in a nutshell. Massillon played a great game and hat's off to them. I hope the young man who looked as though he sustained a leg fractue, is doing better.
