I played co-op on Heroic the first time with two other people and we're all pretty avid Halo players so I'd say it took us about six hours. It's by far the most satisfying ending since the first one.

By the way, Legendary is going to be insane on this one. As I said we played on Heroic and play Halo games a lot and there were sections where we were dying left and right. Gonna playthrough again really soon. Maybe tonight.

I played a little bit today....pretty good so far...I am just playing on normal difficulty.

Online play is where its @ haha i havent even started the campaign

They actually made co-op harder than solo this time. As in, more enemies as well as tougher AI.

Halo 3 was awesome. The fact that you can go online years after its release and find thousands of players tells you everything you need to know about how good of a game it is.

My 360 died a while back so I jumped over to ps3. Gotta admit that I miss Halo.

Find a friend with a 360 or pick up a cheap used one (can find them for around $100). Reach is awesome.

Reach has just been amazing. I haven't beaten campaign yet been doing online play a lot. The only thing I don't like is how they made it like COD and you rank up by experience and don't have levels anymore. What made Halo cool was always trying to get level 50.

The thing was that it wasn't fun that way for most people.

If you want that type of experience then they have the Arena which does rank that way by placing you in different leagues and such based on your skill. These reset every so often so as to avoid what people did with Halo 2/3 which is get a high rank and then sit on it to look cool.

I work with this dude who's always telling me about Halo. Frag shields, special guns, hidden glitches, all kinds of crazy shit.

Everyday I look at him and say "Awesome. I DON'T EVEN OWN AN XBOX MUTHA FUCKA!"

Good lord this kid drives me insane. I asked him if ever played Madden or NCAA and he laughed, saying that games like that were for kids. Right.

Halo has sucked since Halo 1.

I had some good hilarious moments in Halo 3, but that was about it..

I was thinking about picking this one up. Had fun with 3s multiplayer and I do need a new game to play.

Ill wait a bit longer for more details.

Like the 7th or 8th.

Might have just ran into the weekend and that's why it's just shipping. You should get it fairly quickly though. I used their in-store pickup so I didn't have to worry about it. Of course, most people can't be picky up video games at midnight on a Monday so...

Apparently it arrived in Hebron, KY at 4:08 this morning. 4 hours away from where i live. Im hoping it gets here before saturday. Well see i guess.

Hmm, if you had to place it, where would your rank Reach in the Halo series?

I liked Halo 1 the most, Halo 3 2nd, and Halo 2 last myself.

I might have to go pick up Reach.

FYI, I only play online, I can't stand story modes in FPS games.

2) Halo 3
3) Halo 2
4) Halo 1

Honestly, I think the games keep getting better and better.

I will hold off on saying Reach is the best since its new and I havent gotten to mess around with it too much. But so far I agree with Nate I feel the Halo's just kept getting better. Especially the online the play.

I'd say

1. Reach
2. Halo 3
3. Halo 2
4. Halo

For me as well. Each subsequent game was better than the previous ones. Doesn't mean that they all had the same effect as the previous but they were better. The first Halo is still the high point as far as the impact it had on my gaming habits. Really got me into co-op campaigns and really FPS as a whole on consoles. It was excellently done especially considering when it came out.

Reach is simply the culmination of everything. The campaign is fun and varied with some new parts (space combat) thrown in. The multiplayer is incredibly refined and the options and modes are endless. Firefight is better this time around as well and there are tons and tons of options for that too (what the waves of enemies are made up of, starting weapons, powerups, objectives, etc). Forge is also pretty damned improved this time around as the options are a lot better and it's easier to use. Not to mention Forge World is awesome and absolutely huge.

Reach is definitely a great farwell to the series for Bungie. And if you only play online (like jmog) then this is unquestionably the best Halo.
