I love hearing these stories.
Not sure if I believe or not but still love hearing them.
I have had a couple things happen to me at work if I am the only one around as if someone is looking over my shoulder but nothing major. I would like to see more things happen but nothing ever does.

We had a ghost in our old house that was built in 1820 in Warren, Ohio but the really freaky part is that it (he) would only come around when we were sleeping. My whole family plus some extended family and even some friends saw it many times. The ghost was a little boy and he was dressed in period close and sometimes you would hear him crying and calling for his sister who apparently was murdered in the house back in the 1860's. That was the local story anyway, but we never knew if it was true or not. Anyway he'd come in our rooms after we fell asleep and kneel down like he was praying but he would whisper things in your ear. It was fucking freaky. I'd hear it then I'd wake up and he would vanish. We had to move out eventually and that was after we had each room in our house blessed by a priest to try to get rid of him. My mother almost went crazy about it trying to hear him talk to her by her bed and figure out what he wanted. She did tell me one really weird thing he said, but I'll get to that later. First, I have to tell about the one time when I did get to see him for several minutes by pretending to be asleep when I was about 10. I lied in bed for about three hours perfectly still with my eyes closed and pretended to be asleep. I could hear him come in, but then he would leave again...almost as if he knew I was still awake. I'd lie there and then I'd hear the floor squeak but very faintly almost as if he was really light and the air would get really cold and then go back to normal after he left. This happened for like 45 minutes until I finally felt it get really cold by my head and I could feel him there and I heard him start to talk. I remember being so scared I was shaking and swore he would feel me moving and then leave again, but he didn't. And when he talked I could feel his breath which was warm and I remember thinking that was so odd because the rest of him put out (for lack of a better term) a very cold air and that's what everyone said who ever saw him...that he was surrounded by cold air. So anyway the one night I got to hear him I swear to God it sounded like he said his name was Jacob Miller and he was trying to find his sister because the dark man had taken her, but I wasn't sure if that's what he said so I said "what did you say?" and he said "I'm just kidding, I thought that would be a real cool story bro".

I swear to God that really happened - how freaky is that huh??? I'm still haunted by it to this day. Sometimes, when I smoke good bud, I feel like he's in our new house with me...watching me.

Seriously, there has not been a single thing that has been mentioned here that can't be easily explained.

Footsteps up above? Squirrels in an attic.
Knocking in the walls? Old Utility pipes rattling.
Practical jokes, weird shadows, etc.

Once you are convinced something is hunted, it is pretty easy for your mind to start playing tricks on you. Senses of being touched, cold drafts of air, etc.

I believe in it and yes I think most not all can be explained away one way or another. There have been many times outside my story above I have heard or seen something and was able to find an explanation but sometimes you can't!

I've had many of thoses ghostly encounters especially when my neighbors wife mows their lawn. You would not believe how pale she is. She just doesn't like sunlight and gives off an erie glow.
