They win the big games. Im not going to look back at every year, but they've beat almost all the top teams they've faced and have had plenty of great seasons. Off the top of my mind, they've beat Oklahoma, Oregon, TCU and VT. If they go undefeated, they should get in over any 1 loss team, no matter what conference.

I completely agree. As long as they win out and Ohio State or Alabama has a loss, they should be in.

Not so fast , my friend. Boise will be a second class team until they join a BCS conference and play against NFL quality players on a weekly basis.Let's not forget that VT has now lost 3 consecutive openers, including one to East Carolina. Beating VT should not guarantee any team a spot in the National Championship game.

It is a good win for Boise, but that is all it is. It doesn't validate their claim to the Championship game.

But they lost to Washington in the last five years. Disqualified.

Who else do you want them to beat not on their home field?

Wake me up when they win back-to-back games against teams with the full 85 scholarship athletes and their starters have to play the whole game.

Those games have nothing to do with this year. They will have beaten VT and that's it assuming they win out. I would pick any 1 loss team from a power conference to play in the NC over them any day. Play more than one good team in a season if you want a chance at a NC.

If LSU were the one loss SEC Champion being left out of the title game because Boise State and Ohio State were both undefeated, I feel you would be singing a different tune. And you would have a valid point.

But I think the voters have set it up where they don't really have a choice but to put them in the title game if they finish undefeated and Alabama or Ohio State lose.

I don't care what team they beat. If they want respect, get of the WAC and play NFL quality athletes every week. The rigors of a BCS conference league take a toll on a team, physically and mentally. The WAC allows Boise keep players fresh and to rest injured players. It matters.

This isn't meant to turn it into an OSU bashing or whatever but...How many NFL quality players are on Marshall, Ohio U, Eastern Michigan, and Indiana? The same can be said for every single BCS conference team's schedule and Notre Dame's. Granted, OSU (and others) has teams on their schedule with a lot of NFL talent, but not every opponent does.

But those 4 teams you mentioned send more to the NFL then the whole WAC does as a conf outside of Boise

The odds are pretty good year in and year out that there will be more on power conference schedules than the WAC...

There is a big difference between 3 or 4 cupcakes and playing 10 of them. Most teams in major conferences and ND will have a stretch of the schedule where they play good teams in a span of several weeks. It is much harder to play good teams in consecutive weeks then to only schedule 2 good teams that are spaced out.

Indiana has some NFL quality players, more than any WAC team outside of Boise. Hell, the Rams starting LT is a rookie from Indiana. And do you see the difference between playing 3 teams like Marshall, and playing 10 teams like Marshall?

That's a good point, and they dont get beat up as bad playing weaker teams.

Do you not pay attention to anything? They are heading to the MWC, granted not a BCS conference, but they have to get an invite.

If thats the truth, then why do OSU fans go off of what OSU did in the Rose Bowl game last year?
