Agreed. I'm just saying the real number was likely in that neighborhood anyway. I rarely look at the UE% anymore. They were still jobless/unemployed, they just weren't included in the 9.5% or whatever it is now because they had stopped looking.
In other words since they started looking the UE number is slightly closer to "real" unemployment.
