Good, they recognized you and really didn't really use Oreo's, I don't know what all they found in the parking lot just for you:)

Actually, I was undercover with the "Go Big Red" signs still in the windows of my car from last year's Orrville playoff run. I put them up anytime I go within the city limits. :)

Haha! This is good stuff. I'm going to have to be careful this Friday since I'll be wearing my Triway Football polo shirt to work, which is in Orrville. Eek!

As a matter of fact they do still have the bowl of apple butter next to the cottage cheese. And to follow the "when in Rome" philosophy I put a dollop of it on my cottage chesse. Quite tasty.

Not that I am trying to be Dick Goddard, but I saw the forecast for friday and they are calling for thunderstorms and rain off and on all day. If that is the case what are my fellow OC peoples view of who this will help or hurt going into friday nights game having to deal with the wet grass and ball? I think for the speed side it will slow guys down on their cutting ability and as for catching the ball it can make it more difficult if it is wet so that plays on both sides for both teams. But I know "Air Titan" likes to throw the ball will they change their game plan if they are playing in a down poor? Like I said this is all speculation if it does rain, hopefully it does not.I was just wondering who it will effect more if it does rain, if either.

National Weather Svc....40% during the day, 20% at night.

Let's say a 1 in 3 chance of rain.

I wont even bother talking about what effect it may or may not have....if it's thunderstorming, good chance the game gets delayed.

Last year we had a few very good games in the rain, so we are very capable of playing our normal style even if we are getting wet. The 3-0 win over Tuslaw in last year's mud bowl was the only exception. It can hurt Triway's passing game by not being able to catch as well as normal, but it can also affect Orrville's running game by maybe not being able to hold onto the ball as well. No matter what, whatever team that wins will have to play a great game.

Go Titans!

Weather non issue for either team.

You should never wear a triway shirt to work in Orrville. Bad idea.

Game preview is up.....

Win over Northwest did nothing for my confidence. We play the same way, or even close to it, we lose. We could play much better, and still lose.

Have to disrupt Triway's timing. Can't sit back and let them throw underneath all night.

Tomorrow is game day! I'm up for meeting anyone, if you want. Always up for chatting a bit before the game and maybe a little after, too. If you don't know where I'll be, ask RedRider1, and he can point you in the right direction (not in the visitor stands).

Good luck Titans! Beat the Red Riders!

BRF, xtitan is no longer my partner. He had other, more important things he had to take care of and hasn't been able to help me the last two years, so I've been doing it myself the last 2 seasons. This year my girlfriend is my partner, so it's great to have some help again. :) Anyway, yes, that's where I'll be. Feel free to come up and chat if I don't find you first!

It's game day! The weather looks like it will be great once the game comes around tonight. Some rain and thunderstorms this morning and afternoon, but they should clear out by game time. Should be a great night for football.

Good luck Titans! Beat the Red Riders!

I hear that all the time from Mike Plant during basketball season. Haha! By the way, nice detective work, Dr. RR1.

GAME DAY! Been looking forward to this game for a year now. Last year left a sour grape taste in my mouth that I can't wait to get rid of. Still think last year Titan team should have never beat us and I certainly don't expect them to come into our house and steal a win this year. I don't look at it as a revenge type of thing more so a GET BACK game, taking back a game that we should have never lost. Yea you can't change the record book, Titans stole one from us and as hard as that has been to accept, tonight will finally erase those memories with a Rider Win!

Are you talking about the same game that I saw last year, when Triway went 24-34 passing for 230 yards and 2 TD's, then we punched in a rushing TD and returned a kick for a TD, while forcing Orrville into throwing 3 interceptions? I guess you have excuses just like in the article from 1975. I guess we didn't deserve it last year, so if we win this year, I wonder what the excuse will be. Nobody expects us to win tonight anyway, except those 5 DR reporters. I hope we can pull the upset.

Upset? who are you trying to fool? Ranked 6th in the state and return a 3000 yard passer.......vs unranked and not even a mention and starting a soph QB for his first start.
