by then i'll be living in houston so my options are endless. I'd probably lean verizon because their coverage is better in SE OH/MOV where i will be spending my vacation. but it will depend really on the kind of deals i get when the time comes.

HOU will have LTE coverage...It's sick - 10X faster than VZW's 3G and probably still 1.5 times faster than Sprint's WiMax or whatever it is.

The main point is, Sprint gives you a new upgrade every year, instead of the standard 2 years with every other carrier.

Also Sprint gives me large businesses discounts, federal and state workers. If your member of a credit union, I think Spring gives you 15% off your monthly bill: http://www.cusaver.com/home/ or http://sprint.p.delivery.net/m/p/nxt/ais/wdyw.asp Try both discount links......

Not rubbing it in but almost everyone can get SOME discount from Sprint.

Droid Light is really handy at night when trying to unlock the door to your house and the porch light is not on.

I just put Music Mate on my Droid X and I like it so far. Some of the songs are dead slow in preview mode but they load pretty fast, for the most part. Was looking at Shazam but heard some negative things about it. Music Mate seemed to get far more rave reviews.

Pandora radio is pretty cool too. My girlfriend loves Pandora.

If you're an avid gym goer...Jefit is a great app for tracking/creating workouts. Comes loaded with exercises, an allows you to add custom exercises if it doesn't have one you want. Has a few pre-loaded routines, which you can easily customize to suit your personal needs.

If you're trying to lose weight or just make sure you're eating healthier...Myfitnesspal is a good calorie counter/food tracker.

I also use Where, Yelp, Wikidroid, MMA News, Facebook, Fandango and Twitter.

With 1500 minutes, you can get essentially the same thing on Sprint for $129.99: "Everything Data Family - with Any Mobile, Anytime"

good call. i just priced them with my company discount and sprint is 116 a month. verizon is 150. the main difference is verizon charges 30 per smartphone per month and sprint charges 10.

Again, like I previously said...you have to compensate for Sprint's smaller network. It'll be useless in rural areas (more than likely).

I dropped one outside in a mud puddle once, and insurance replaced mine without any hassle.

lol nope, I was the driver. I noticed when I got home I couldn't find my phone so I went back to the bar this morning and there it lay...... in a fucking mud puddle in the parking lot. Must of fell out of my coat pocket when I was getting in my car. That is the first time in 7 years that I have lost or broken a phone and it happened when I was sober. go figure

KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can go to any Verizon store, and as long as they have the replacement in stock you should be good to go. I think you may have to pay a deductible though.

I actually had to replace my Droid today. Don't know what's wrong. It took up a mind of it's own. Apps just start randomly opening and stuff. They didn't have any in stock, so they are shipping me a new one. It will be here Monday. I didn't have to pay anything for it though.

My bro is on his 3rd.because of random problems. Seems like most the tech nerds on the android forums tell you to stay away from moto products...i will probably always stick with htc phones
