Seriously...

ESPN currently has on some stupid segment about a ballboy giving a ball to a girl and getting a date. And no, it's not a quick 10 second story. This is at least a 2 minute piece. They are now discussing the intricacies of the date.

It was on First Take this morning, they just replayed part of it. First Take really doesn't have too much to "report" so they have a lot of these type of stories. Not really a big deal and its actually kind of funny.

Exactly, this story is not really a big deal.... as in it shouldn't be a story in any media besides possibly some local news paper...

Pretty surprising that they were actually able to break away from their daily sucking of Brett Favre's old cock to talk about this story at all.

Honestly, the only good thing about ESPN anymore is their 30 for 30 series.

The A's bullpen put him up to it. They told him to give every foul ball he got to her. She ended up getting 4 from him and then one at the end of the game from the bullpen that asked for her number. Pretty funny.

Yeah my only question is isn't 21 a little old to be a ball boy? I'm not talking about the 80 year olds the Giants run out there either. I don't think I could see myself in full uniform on a major league field at age 21 unless I was playing.

Well, your choices are basically shows like that, or the 50th re-run of Sportscenter that day. Mike & Mike is the only decent show they have.

Remember the day when ESPN use to a broadcast actual sports? I'd guess it's a lot cheaper and more revenues for that garbage than obscure cricket match in India. 2 channels and hardly any sports, just like MTV hardly plays any music.

And for your information, it was background noise while I was typing up fictional informal advice letter for class... and towards the end of the segment I was so annoyed I did turn channel away from ESPN.
