I created a thread on 8/01 in the mod forum stating that I needed to get rules posted on the new software. The large influx of new users and the start of the football season are why the rules we posted now. My laziness is the only reason this wasn't done months ago.

So there you have it. The only reason rules haven't been posted much earlier is because Justin sucks at life. Straight from his fingers to your eyes.

So typical for such a minor league site.

Ok we get it, you made an unoriginal site and forgot you had rules...lets talk about how stupid the phrase "LOLZ" is, thats where the direction of this thread should be headed. How does one "laugh out loudz", you can't have multiple louds.

Awwww...my feelings are hurt.

It may be an unoriginal site (all forums are, essentially) but of all the ones that popped up after the backlash it is the only one that has lasted.

That was tongue in cheek, its a shame you backed down to JJ's "lawyers" just think of how much bigger the site would be without the name change.

What you call "backing down" I call an obvious financial decision. Why potentially spend tens of thousands of dollars in court to keep the name of a website that generates peanuts in revenue?

Why waste money fighting a potential lawsuit when a name change was all they were essentially asking for.

I can't believe they had any ground to stand on, they act like they came up with the idea of a website with forums. Did they own the rights to "huddle"?

This is the only site that lasted after the exodus from JJs?

What happened to Mike Clarks Ohio Sports Forum?

Regardless of whether they had a leg to stand on or not lawyers cost money, as LJ said. And it wasn't worth risking my financial future to see if they had a leg to stand on or not. Had I fought and they won it would've crippled me financially.

I understand your position, I just think I would've called their bluff...and if they won and crippled you, you could write a book about it and make millions on how fucked up this country is.
